When all was said and done, I took a walk around the compound after getting properly adjusted. There were tons of military personnel carrying heavy firearms. All were dressed from head to toe in armor I had never seen soldiers wear before. Now that I think about it, these guys were known as the Exo Warriors or something similar to that. They were the military division of the PMC. Oh, I didn't mention? Well, Prime Exocore is known to the general public as a Private Military Corporation--PMC for short. Diane's father was a war decorated general in the US military. Because of him and his pull, Diane was able to gain the proper funds to get her company off the ground during the first two years, though that money would go to waste, seeing that it wasn't until Ochigi that the formula was perfected. When she created the cloning formula, many countries and other shady organizations held their hands out with palms wide open in the hopes to learn a fraction of what the formula consisted of. Instead, she decided it was best to give them her stem cell research from the procedures. It was a smart marketing move. And now, she was one of the wealthiest women on earth. Her father and Luke used this opportunity to make a Private military corporation within or rather alongside PEC. I don't think Luke or her father really cared about Diane or her Dreams. Just how they themselves could benefit off of them.
However, for every decision you make there are consequences that follow. By not disclosing the properties of the cloning procedure in depth, Diane had conjured a few enemies. A lot of enemies. That is where Anthony Zells came in. Ex-marine. She needed someone reliable, someone resourceful, someone lethal in her corner, and at that moment a PMC made sense to her. Anthony was the perfect candidate to help her guard her life's work. He helped Luke and her Father train the men they gathered and became there leading Commander of the military division of Prime Exocore, and that's how the Exo Warriors came to be.
"So, man. Remember that bar I was telling you about, the one that's here on the compound? Are you ready?" Ochigi coaxed me once more. He had slipped into a change of clothes. He now wore a pressed black dress coat and crisp white button-down shirt beneath. This was coupled with a nice pair of dark denim jeans and a warm heavy gray fur-collared jacket. It was a dapper ensemble. He was a stylish fellow, honestly outside of that lab coat.
"I'm actually on my way there now." I retorted, my arms crossed themselves casually over my chest.
"That's great! Alright, I'll come with you!" He said, confidently placing his hands on his hips as he fell into step next to me.
"Wait, wait, wait. What?" I asked. "What about Diane?"
"Diane?" A smirk casually crests itself over his mouth. "Diane's fine. C'mon, I need a few drinks in my system. And she can't drink, because of the baby. So, you're my date tonight."
I shook my head and chuckled lightly to myself, all the while, we made our way inside of the bar. It was fairly packed, but not so much that it was unsettling. Most of the people here were Prime Exocore personnel or soldiers. The bar's interior had a wooden panel aesthetic that made it look warm and homey. The entire bar itself was carved completely out of hard marble slab. The surface was so polished that you could see your reflection in it clear as day. The dark mahogany walls stood tall and were well decorated with images of Antartica and it's polar ice landscapes. I could only imagine they had been snapped as a token to the many expeditions the staff had taken. My eyes would wander away from the tasteful decor, however. Then I saw her again.
"Look, there she is," Ochigi warned while pointing in Kaldea's direction. I immediately smacked his hand down before she could see.
"Fuck man! Don't point, you're gonna make shit awkward." I hissed the words harshly from between my teeth to him with a scowl glued to my face.
"You know, most bosses would fire their employees for smacking the shit out of their hands," Ochigi silently said while rubbing the back of his hand. I had been ignoring him, though. My eyes were completely enamored by her beauty again. I swallowed hard.
Ochigi and I found seats soon after. As we sat together at the bar, He told me stories about his youth. He told me stories of how he met Diane.
"It was strange. The substance used to formulate the cure for the common cold? It was actually discovered in an ancient Mayan temple. Fun fact, it's also where we conceived our son!" Ochigi chased his hearty laughter with a shot before bringing his glass back down to rest on the bar.
"Hey, look. Don't take it personally. But i really could go without knowing about my bosses sex life. Thanks." I grimaced and shook my head.
"What? It's nature, isn't it? Besides, I bet you wouldn't mind doing some naturey things to Kaldea, huh?" He replied. I choked on my drink at what point dexter just mentioned. " I've noticed you keep eying her from a distance the whole time we've been here. Why don't you go talk to her?" As Ochigi spoke, my eyes drifted over in her direction. My words clustered on my tongue and I hesitated, until...
"Well, I guess if you think it's a good idea." I rubbed the back of my neck, instant regret lingering on my tongue.
"I think it's a GREAT idea. Actually. It's easy, just, uh, ask her if you can buy her a drink." Ochigi stated matter-a-factly. I groaned inwardly.
"I know how to talk to women, Ryoji." My voice was stern.
"Yeah? Let's see you do it then." Ochigi threw back another shot of liquor. "C'mon, go, let me see it."
Alright, alright. Just... hang tight." I said back to him. I stood up from my seat as I sucked in a deep shaky breath. "Okay, let's do this, Jon. You got this shit, man. It's cake." I coached myself.
I took the first step. My heart began to pound immediately. Dammit, not this again! I clenched my fist tightly. The skin on my knuckles quickly turned starch white from the immediate strain. Oh well, it was a small price to pay in exchange for keeping my composure. My skin began to tingle all over again my god was it unnatural. It felt so fucking inhuman. But I just… I just couldn’t get enough of it.
I approached her. My lips parted before the words could even come to me. As I drew closer to her, my breathing grew shallow in my throat. It was then that her eyes fell on me. I felt my face go completely numb. Our eyes met and she said to me...
“You’re going to ask if you can buy me a drink," she spoke in a seductive tone. Or rather… it sounded seductive to me. In fact, when she spoke it felt like everything else had gone silent. Though oddly enough, I didn’t mind it. I didn’t mind her voice being all that was broadcasted to me. Her presence. It made everything else irrelevant.
“How did you…” I said in a daze while stalling my words. Her response made me beyond baffled.
“Ah, who knows? My friends think I’m psychic. Or something like that. But for me? I’d consider myself as an Expert guesser." Her lips clamped shut over her drink's straw.
"An expert guesser? Well, as far as expertise goes, you're doing better than me. All I do is mop floors." The words fell flat and lame. Kaldea leaned back in her seat, pulling her fingers through her hair. Her red locks drifted across her face.
"Oh, mopping, huh? I'm sure you're good at other things as well." She smiled at me, her words smooth like water. "Maybe you just need help finding out what." She stood up, pulling her curls out of her face. Kaldea had been shorter than me, but not by much. I felt something ignite inside of me as our eyes locked onto one another. It was if I’d been lost in a sea of her gaze. “You can still buy me that drink. We have a long trip ahead of us tomorrow. So, maybe we should take this to our rooms instead."
"W-what..." I said as she took hold of my wrist. "It was getting kind of boring here anyways." She scoffed, her grip pulling me along. My breath hitched and before long I was being guided out of the bar. Ochigi had even been surprised judging by the expression on his face. The other soldiers looked at me with a stinging envy that graphed itself onto their faces. They were deep grueling expressions. I didn’t care. Girls like this? They never paid attention to guys like me. It didn't take long before we'd make it to her room.
“Um, Kaldea. Don’t you think we should…” My speech was halted due to my unquelled angst. We made it into her room and with the bottle of liquor in my hand, I sat down on her bed, waiting. Kaldea disappeared into the restroom not too long ago. Fear engrossed me in its grasp while I sat there. I rocked, clenching tightly in anticipation. Fear almost gave me the strength to leave, but then... I saw her exit the restroom. She stood there like a vision. Thin layers of silken fabric fell effortlessly in place over her womanly figure. The attire slipped snuggly over her body in such a way that it managed to show every nook and crease in her curves. It left almost nothing to the imagination.
“Think we should do what?“ Kaldea said, placing her hands on her hips. Her nightgown nearly exposed almost everything due to the bright pink texture of its thread. She was practically naked! In all honesty, she might as well had been. My throat clenched again. “When they told me that they were bringing a friend with them, and not that repulsive Luke Stradus... I got excited." Her voice spilled like honey over her dark red lips. "You know Jon, it’s almost as fate itself has brought you here with me tonight,“ Kaldea spoke once more as she stepped towards me. Her hips were swaying left to right like water in a bottle. She moved like a serpent almost. “You should learn to relax. Jon.“ She eyed me with slanted lids, placing her right hand on my face. My heart pounded so hard by now it felt as if it would explode from my chest.
“These types of jobs are dangerous. Don’t let Ryoji and his wife fool you. It’s more than possible that you may not see the light of day again." When she said those words to me, all sound would disperse once more. It was just like back in the bar. And her eyes seemed… almost inhuman. Widened and large, gazing, like I’d been staring into a sea of lavender that would swallow me whole with its violent waves. “Tomorrow isn’t promised for people like you," There was a pause. "And me." I noticed it. I think she meant for me to notice it. For some reason, it felt very deliberate. I felt her fingers gripping tightly to my belt buckle. The next thing I knew, it was unlatched.
“So live like your tomorrow will never come. " Then she pressed her lips to my own, causing my heart to pound! I felt that jolt again like before, only this time, it never left me. It never eased. It drove me into a frenzy--A rapid flame of lust engulfed my entire being. It was as if I had lost all control.
I took her and she allowed me to. But it was strange. It still felt as if she was in control. Save aggression, my lustful rush of anguish meant nothing to her. It As if it had been a measly snack and nothing more. Before long, our clothes were gone. I was on top of her in an instant, fully mounted, her legs pressed against my hips. My hands gripped tightly to her wrists, pulling them above her head as I leaned in forward. My lips pressed, biting at the right side of Kaldea's neck. While doing so, I’d slide my length into her depths. I continued this onslaught of grueling pounds and strokes until my body finally found itself engulfed in a rapid succession of pleasure. I was losing myself, acting like more of a beast than a man. I'd never felt so... strong before.
“There you go, Jon… Now you’re living.“ Kaldea whispered to me with those large inhuman eyes. Her words sent even more jolts through my physical being. It was so intoxicating. I couldn’t control myself, it wasn’t long now. I could feel my seed racing towards the end of the tunnel. My body tensed, and with strength, I didn’t know I had, I grunted. Shouting like a beast, I emptied my seed into her. And she welcomed it, with a smirk playing on her lips. As if… all had been according to plan. I slumped forward my body exhausting itself with all its energy. It almost felt as if it had been drained from my very being.
“I’m sorry… you didn’t… “ I attempted to speak, but my words were lost to me. Kaldea patted my head gingerly before sitting up against the wall. A cigarette rested in her mouth as I laid my head on her pillowy breasts, panting for dear life.
“It’s alright. After all, you’re only human right? “She said to me with a stale expression on her face. A cold one. She sounded almost disappointed. I did exhaust myself before she reached a climax. Way to blow it, Jon.
“I’ll… see you in the morning then? “ I said while I stood at the door of her compound room after putting my clothes on awkwardly walking out. She nodded, closing the door behind me as I walked towards my own space. Once inside, Ochigi and Diane had both been sound asleep at the table. It appeared they were working on something.. Ochigi gripped tightly to his whiskey bottle, even in the depths of his sleep. While under Diane's sleeping head, had been an assortment of files and paperwork. Though despite it all their free hands were locked within each other. Grasping on for dear life it almost looked like. I smiled, going into my room as I lie on my cot. Staring up at the ceiling. “Tomorrows never promised…“ I said to myself. Kaldea's words lingered on repeat in the back of my mind. I mean I get what she meant. But, I don’t know. It just felt so. Barren. Her final words to me, lingered in my mind like they'd been lost in limbo.
