Nebu turned around when his shoulder was touched, he watched the man struggle with his sentence, he laughed when he heard the accent "it's fine really, if you have a piece of paper with the number on it I can show you where it is, or if you know the number that would be fine too." Nebu said with a wide friendly smile.
He took a deep breath, the strangers calmness helped him, and the understanding of the language Barrier helped. He suddenly dropped his bag with a large thump and reached inside his blue leather jacket to find a pen, Luckily he had also found a scrap piece of paper. He chuckled lightly “I don’t usually forgot” He looked around the hall and placed the paper against the wall so he could scribble the numbers down.
Nebu laughed, "don't worry, it happens to the best of us." He said making friendly small talk.
“It is nice to see some people are kinder than others” his accent was deep in his voice.
He finally jotted the numbers down ‘1-0-7’ and handed it to the other man, picking his bags up quickly.
Nebu looked at the number and thought for a second, "ah I know where that is, it's actually fairly close to the room I'll be in. Follow me." He said with a smile, and started towards the way he was headed before.
Pay smiled and followed the new acquaintance.
"So, where are you coming from?" Nebu asked trying to make friends, seeing as it was a birthday cruise for him after all.
“From Norway, my family is spread out so getting here was actually easy” he flicked his tail in excitement, his bags were full of clothes and all sorts of books ‘English: For dummies’ was in his bag, perhaps he should have kept that in his pocket
“How about you?” He said with a friendly smile now coming to his face, Pay hoped he could make a new friend, after all he only knew two other people that weren’t in his family
Nebu smiled "That's really cool, I've always wanted to go but I'm stuck with my father doing business with him, and for him sadly. Ah I'm from Egypt actually, I probably don't look it much but I was born there, when I was about 7 or 8 we moved overseas and we've been traveling wherever business takes my father." He said with a chuckle, stopping in front of the door labeled '107'
Pay smiled “Egypt sounds cool, bet it’s hot there” Pay felt slightly bad for the other kid, he wondered what it would be like if he hadn’t moved as far away as possible from his father, Oslo had treated him rather nice now that he thought of it, he stopped when Nebu did.
Nebu smiled "it is, it was odd seeing snow for the first time. Well here you are, if you need me I'll be down the hall to the left numbered '99' or at the bar in about," he checked the time on his phone, "uhh, an hour roughly. It was a nice chat, see you later." Nebu said walking off in the direction of his room.
“Thank you!” Pay blurted out as the other boy began to walk away,
He heard the man call from behind him, "Ah don't mention it." Nebu said waving while still walking away,
Pay repeated ‘99’ ‘99’ ‘99’ in his head keeping a mental note to write it down, He fished out his keys and opened the door as quick as possible so he could hide inside the room, then he went to find another piece of parchment.
