Emily's days started like any other girls, she woke up, the servant's dress her, the chef's make her crouqe de madam, she would go to hee tutor and then do as she wished in the afternoon while listening to her parents praise her little brother for his "fortunate birth" over dinner before turning their attention to see if she was just a late bloomer.

   "So uhhh Emily how is the sparring coming along?" Emily's father asked. 

   "Dear why even ask her? She's never gonna be as good as Timothy aftera-" "Actually Mother, Bearcarde says if I continue with my pyromancy I might be able to jump a mana level in the future." Emily interrupted her mother.  

   "Oh well good work with that Emily." Said Emily's mother with a cold disregard. 

A silence began to come over the dinner table after the interruption but before it could claim the atmosphere, Emily's brother Timothy spoke up. 

     "Well doesn't matter how good at pyromancy you get, you'll never be anything other than a failure compared to me sister."

   Those words stung Emily worse than anything she could think of but she had become use to the abuse. "It's BIG sister Timothy no matter your terrible attitude it won't change that I am older."

    "Not by much." 

    "Yea 6 years totally isn't much Timothy, very smart."

   Timothy fell silent as he saw a look of displeasure upon his mother's face.

   "What? Know when you're beat huh? Good." Emily stated unaware of her mothers displeasure at the situation. 

As minutes pass in silence everyone finishes dinner and summon the servant's to clean up the dining table, Emily, being the first to get up and leave heads to the library to study the pyromancy tomes her mentor Bearcard told her about.

   Timothy went to his room to study the various forms of magic his family has been known for mastering on behest of his mother. 

   Their parents, well no one knows what the Lady and Lord of the Rubrums do in their time anyone who does never talks about it. 

                    END OF PROLOGUE 

Hey it's the author here. Usually by the end of a chapter (or prologue in this case) I will put in authors notes like this to tell ya'll what's up.

So yea the prologue for Bleed Black...
