How can one fall in love.

Fall in love with a close friend.

My mind twisting and turning, 

never ending thought. 

How could i let my guard down,

let my feelings reveal themselves to me.

my imagination, love fraught. 

Evermore in love.

In love with one of whom i have not a chance.

Though daft I've let myself dive in too deep.

If i were to tell her i love her,

would that leave my mind abought. 

If i could tell her. 

If i could tell her would that thaw my ice cold heart,

stitch the wounds in my soul.

The decision leaves me distraught.
