She returned solemnly to the lab with a grim expression on her face. The doctors, who were taking rest, got up from their seated or rested positions and looked to their supervisor.
"So, what did the boss say?"
The woman sighed as she looked to the speaker and shook her head. "The child is a failure in his eyes, as it lacks the serum and he doesn't have time to wait and care for a child." She began.
The doctor's listened intently and their expressions changed from confusion to frustration. "Get to the point, what does boss want us to do with it then."
"He wants us to kill it." The nurse said blankly, as she did so, her eyes trailed to the infant. She didn't want to kill it at all, but didn't want to get killed herself for not following orders.
The room turned to silence and the doctors turned to each other. "Well, I am not doing it." They said one after the other, sounding like the disciples at the last supper.
The nurse rolled her eyes and picked up the baby in swaddled wrappings. "We aren't killing her, you bafoons. We, are hiding it. But we have to look as if we did..."
