“Okay next person to introduce himself is a young man named Chase” the teacher exclaimed, the boy just sat there knowing if he got up people would throw things at him, but he thought to himself that this was a different school, maybe people won’t throw things. He stood up knowing that he couldn’t sit back down, and walked to the front of class knowing he didn’t want to go up there his legs forced him to and he instantly knew he lost control of his body. He was at the front of class, he tried to keep his mouth shut but his lips wouldn’t respond, as he felt his vocal cords getting ready to vibrate and make a noise, “h-h-hello m-my name is-is Ch-Chase H-H-Hinder-derson,” is what he managed to muster out of his mouth even though he wanted to keep it shut. Only two people clapped the teacher and Nikeya. His heart was beating fast and he felt like he was sweating pools of sweat and then he passed out when he awoke he felt teardrops going down his face and a voice screaming and shouting, stand back and to get away, he opened his eyes only to see a girl crying, her face was red and she looked like she was trying to protect something. He opened his eyes all the way and scanned his surroundings, he saw the students surrounding him, the teacher was above his head, and cradling him closely, red in the face and in tears was Nikeya. He felt bad, “she tried to be nice to her and I just shunned her for it, what a jerk I turned out to be,” he thought to himself. After he realized at how stupid he felt, he struggled to stand up but managed to do it by himself. He lifted himself out of Nikeya’s arms, as she looked at him she asked in a very soft voice “are you okay?” He ignored her question knowing that if he said something to her he would feel bad, so he looked toward the teacher “Ms. Pastine can I go to the nurse's office” he asked, then Ms. Pastine nodded and asked him a question that she shouldn’t have “will you take Nikeya with you just in case you fall?” “No she’ll just get in my way but thanks for the offer.” He didn’t know why he said that, those hurtful words that came from his mouth, he could only wish he could take back. And out of the class he walked, the teacher told Nikeya in a concerned voice to follow him, she shook her head “ like he said I’ll just get in his way I’d only make him feel worse if I followed him” she said in a depressed voice. He woke up back in the hospital wing with Professor Ivan next to him with a laptop in his lap and his fingers dancing on the keyboard like it was a stage to perform upon. “Ah you’re awake, while you were passed out you were speaking at first I had a pen and note pad and then when we arrived here I had one of the other professors deliver my laptop” he said. “How long was I out “Chase asked, “A day and a half” I’m surprised it took you so long to wake up” he replied.
