I can still see her blue dress as I ran through the crowd. I still couldn't believe what happen back there, the whole scene keeps repeating in my head. Hmm? It seems she slowed down her pace a bit, I reached out and grabbed her arm which made her turn around. Catching my breath, I looked around, and noticed we were close to a park. Still holding her arm, I pulled her to a near-by bench and sat us both down.
Tamara stares straight to the ground as I was still catching my breath and coughing. It became quiet between us until I let out a small laugh which made Tamara jumped. She looks at me nervously as my laugh grew louder and louder.
"I'm sorry," I tried to calm myself, "I just can't stop seeing his face getting smash like that."
Tamara puts her left hand behind her neck and looked down, "I...I just didn't want to sit down and do nothing, when he picked up that bottle it set me off a little."
"Why did you ran away?" I asked her.
Tamara looked up to the cool night sky, "One, I wanted to make sure Ally had the date she wanted, so I told myself to not get into any type of trouble for her sake," she paused, "You saw how quickly that went out the window when those women start talking crap."
"Trust me, you and Allyson were a breath of fresh air from what Toma and I usually get," I did a light smile as I looks up to the sky.
Tamara frown, "Thing is I slowed down because I was thinking of you," I look down and at Tamara who was rubbing her arms to keep warm. I took off my jacket and was about to wrap it around her until her words stopped me. " I...left you...left you alone at that group date, it made me feel like crap so I slowed down and I kept picturing you alone at that table."
She looks down from the night sky with eyes closed, then opened and turns to face me. Tamara's face blended with the moon in the night sky, 'Beautiful,' I thought, "And as I was about to turn around to run back, you grabbed my arm...I was kind of relieved to see your face," I placed the jacket around Tamara, "Tha...Thank you."
I lend forward putting my forearms on the top of his legs and looked at the green grass ahead of me, "I'm used to it, had girls run on me lots of times," I take a peak at her face, she looked like she just got punch in the stomach. "But you didn't run away from ME, you felt you ruined the date for everyone and truly got embarrassed that you panic." I stood up and held out his hand to her, "Let's head back, Allyson is worried about you and let's not leave her to deal with those harpies," Tamara lets out a small chuckle, took my hand, and walked with me out of the park.
"I wonder if they are still at the..." I said then my cell phone rings, "Oh perfect timing, Yo, yeah," I turn to Tamara with a grin, "I found her, we are coming back...huh? You guys are at Karaoke Café already!?" He stops and sighs, "Unlock your gps for me so we can find you...yeah, good, see you there," I hang up, and slides on the the screen until a beep was heard. "Okay got it," I turned to Tamara, "Let's go."
When they arrived, Allyson was wearing Tamara's jacket and when she saw Tamara her face lighten up. "I was so worried when you ran out like that," she said with a pout face. Tamara took a step back, "Sorry about that, don't do the face," Allyson giggled and handed Tamara's jacket to her but noticed she had on Itsuki's.
She gasped, "What happened!? You need to tell me!"
Tamara looks at her with a confused look, Allyson points to Itsuki's jacket, Tamara looks down and quickly looks back at her. "It was cold outside and he gave it to me." Allyson got close to her face, "You mean nothing happen? No touching hands and looking into each other's eyes?" Tamara pushes up her glasses, "I apologized to him, that's it," she whispered back. Allyson looked at her with a disappointed face and Tamara pinched her cheek, "This night is about you, not me remember?"
"Are you two done yet?" asked the wig woman.
"Yeah, WE want to have fun and SIIINNGG," squealed Trish.
"Can we go to the arcade next door, Ally?" quickly asked Tamara and I turned towards the front door, "There's a arcade!?" I happily thought.
"No, we were waiting for you two for a good fifteen minutes and you will..." yelled Trish before Allyson cuts her off.
"Go ahead you two, you guys always had disdainful looks on your faces each-time they talked about karaoke," Allyson said in a hurry.
"Look after her, Itsuki," said Toma, he then walked close to my ear, "Don't leave us alone with those things for long, got it?"
"Sure, and I'll bring ear-plugs too."
Tamara hands back her jacket to Allyson, "Here I think it would be safe with you in that small room."
"Good idea, I'll take care of it." said Allyson
Tamara and I both turn to head out the door. "I didn't even know there was an arcade," I whispered.
"When you are about to go through the deep pits of hell, you look for the shiny light in the darkness...but I just happen to look for a way out and saw it on our way here," explained Tamara and I chuckled as we pass through the front door towards the arcade.
