Idea 4 - When Cherry Blossom Blooms

Raised motherless and to an abusive father, Hisakata Sakura struggled to keep her life balanced with what little education she received and her father’s dangerous habits. After a deadly car accident, Sakura is at the mercy of Japan’s oldest and widespread family, the Kusanagi’s. To pay back the debt she owed, she was placed into an engagement with the family’s heir, Kusanagi Kazuya. With no support from her parents or family, Sakura’s life changed for better or worse.

Hisakata Sakura [ヒサカタ.サクラ] (Female-17) is the wife of Kusanagi Kazuya and the heiress to the Kusanagi Family legacy. After her father neglected to pay for her hospital bill, after the crash, she nearly died from major blood loss. It was thanks to Kazuya’s blood transfusion, she was able to recover. She has wavy, mid-length black hair and cherry pink eyes. She has a model’s figure but this is due to a lack of eating habits.

Kusanagi Kazuya [クサナギ.カズヤ] (Male-18) is the heir to the Kusanagi Family legacy and husband of Hisakata Sakura. After the sudden accident, he donated some of his blood to Sakura so she could make a recovery. In his debt, Sakura agreed to become his fiancé. With her broken past,Kazuya sought to serve her as a source of comfort and protection. He has soft, straight navy blue hair and light sea green eyes. He has a muscular build and peachy skin tone.

Hisakata Surya [ヒサカタ.スリヤ] is the father of Hisakata Sakura and also her source of mental discord. Since his wife, Rose; Sakura’s mother died, leaving Sakura in his care, he always resented family and even cut ties with his in Southeast Asia, where he is from. Upon coming to Japan and marrying

Rose, he adopted her family name and became an Hisakata. Rose died a little bit after Ritsu, Sakura’s older brother entered middle school, while giving birth to Sakura. He had dark green hair and dark red eyes.

Hisakata Ritsu [ヒサカタ.リツ] (Male-21) is Sakura’s older brother and a senior university student in living in Tokyo. He is studying law enforcement and IT. Like Sakura, he has cherry pink eyes but like their father, has dark green hair. When he first met Kazuya, he resents himself for not being there to keep her from danger. After he heard Kazuya's resolve, he began to trust the kid enough to him take care of Sakura.

Tabichana Momo [タビハナ.モモ] (Female-18) is Kazuya’s paternal cousin and the childhood friend of Sakura. She has a bubbly personality and is usually optimistic and sarcastic toward Sakura. She has dyed blonde hair and orange eyes. She also has a model figure and is quite distant from Kazuya.

Kusanagi Rize [クサナギ.リゼ] (Female-18) is Kazuya's maternal cousin who was originally supposed to be his wife. She harbors one-sided love for Kazuya and bitter hatred toward Sakura. She is a model for the family's designer branch. Rize has short dyed light blue hair and green eyes.

Kusanagi Akifusa [クサナギ.アキフサ] is Kazuya's father. He is very loving to his family but very serious to his job. He was said to be attracted to Kazuya's mother because of her stubbornness. He has navy blue hair and orange eyes. He met Sakura while she was in the hospital and started to take a liking to her. He was the one who approved their engagement and cancelled Kazuya's engagement to Rize.

*Hisakata Rose, Sakura's mother and Kusanagi Asami, Kazuya's mother, passed away when Sakura and Kazuya were born.*

The prologue begins on a moonlit night. Hisakata Sakura is finishing a homework assignment when her father, Surya, comes home. He tells her to make him some food. Afterwards, Sakura says she will go to the store to pick up some groceries.

The story begins with Sakura as she admires the birds that fly freely in the sky. As the school bell rings, her friend, Tabichana Momo runs up and hugs her. Momo asks if Sakura would like to come to a party. Sakura says she will ask her father, though already knowing the answer.

Momo walks with Sakura into her house. Momo greets Surya who

grunts and walks, groggily to the bathroom for a hangover. Momo tells Sakura that she already knew the answer and she will see her again at school. Surya returns from the bathroom and asks what Momo is talking about. Sakura said she was invited to join Momo at a friend's party. Surya laughs and questions her about her friends. Are the all boys? Do they have any money or connections? Sakura brushes him off and says that she needs to prepare for her job. Surya asks when did she start working. Sakura replied about 4 years ago. Surya became furious calling her an ungrateful brat. Sakura says that she earns the money and he spends it. Surya chokes Sakura and takes her outside. He throws her at a black SUV as it comes down the street.
