so spoiler time. loki dies. rip tom hiddleston i guess, you fabulous hunk of man. this is also early in the film as well. anyway with that out of the way, let’s talk about thanos.

thanos is an interesting character. marvel has kind of turned into the internet, or in other words, a group of left-wing thinking people trying to humanise psychopaths. at least they made thanos scary again. he was a joke because all he did was sit in a chair. now he’s a tyrant. his latest appearance before all this marvel cinematic nonsense was on the children’s show super hero squad, where he shared the spotlight with doctor doom of all people. just the very fact that the villain isn’t just the evil version of the superhero is a fucking huge step for marvel. (he’s like ant-man/spiderman/iron man/the hulk/captain america, but evil). i also love that thanos’ quest is to just grab some cool rainbow coloured jewellery for his fancy glove. out of the babadook and pennywise, at least thanos makes sense as a gay icon.

i feel like marvel’s aim is to do two things: kill off all their main characters and make them as attractive as possible. captain america turned into daddy america and banner is becoming rugged and i love it. oh this is also the movie where everyone ugly cries. it’s disgusting. fucking cg that shit.

one smaller detail that i enjoyed is that marvel is finally understanding their audience, as in they just wrote out hawkeye and ant-man because no one likes them.

anyway to the actual review part of this, the pacing was good, the colour was nice and the acting was cool. the cg was shit, but whatever, it’s never been their strong suit. also nice how the end credits are like an arbitrary. i give avengers infinity war 3/5 murderous gay icons.
