I’m pulled out of my thoughts by Ash shaking my shoulder. “I’m sorry, what did you say?” I asked looking away from the forest green eyes that held my gaze just now. I look at Ash and see her concerned face, I give her a little smile to let her know that I’m ok. “I asked if you wanted to go dance with me?” She said while pointing towards the dance floor I smiled and nodded my head at her. She smiled and grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the dance floor.

We get on the dance floor and start dancing to the beat, we`re rubbing up against other people and each other. After a while my feet start to hurt, “I’m going to go and find someplace to sit,” I yell over the music to Ash and she just nods her head and turns back to the guy that she’s dancing with. I chuckle and shake my head at her while I turn and leave the dance floor looking for someplace to sit. I walk outside and see a place on the side of the house that looks like no ones there. I sit and lay my head back against the wall, listening to the small sound of the music. I don’t notice anyone there until someone clears their throat.

“Can I sit here?” I look up and am met with those forest green eyes. I nod and a small smile plays on his lips, and it is instantly gone I don’t even know if I saw correctly. He sits and says nothing, we sit in a comfortable silence for what feels like minutes. “So why aren’t you drinking anything?” he asks breaking the silence. “What do you mean I’ve been drinking,” I say nervous, hoping that he doesn’t notice how nervous I am. “Yeah, but you haven’t been drinking any alcohol, like everybody else.” He said looking at me with his mesmerizing forest green eyes. “How did you know?” I ask looking away from his eyes, I don’t want to be lost in them again. I don’t know how he knew that I wasn’t drinking any alcohol, was I that obvio-

“I didn’t,” Trevor says interrupting my thoughts. “What?” I ask looking at him, “I said that I didn’t know, but now I do because you just told me.” He says looking at me and smirking, I shake my head and look down at my hands that are on my lap. “So why aren’t you drinking anything?” He said putting a finger under my chin and making me look at him. I look away from him but I can still feel him looking at me. “Because I cant,” I say letting out a huge sigh, “and whys that?” He asks in a quiet voice that I can barely hear and I can still feel his eyes on me almost like he’s looking through me.

“Because….I’m…..pregnant,” I whisper not even sure that he heard me. But he lets go of my chin and I look back down at my hands. “Well, I never saw that coming,” Trevor says while laughing. “Anyways, where’s the father?” He asks when he stops laughing, I shrug. “He’s not with you?” He asks and I can hear the surprise in his voice, I shake my head, “He and my parents wanted me to get rid of my baby,” I say trying to hold back my tears. Trevor put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me into his side, and I let the tears fall and started to cry. I don’t know why but I feel safe in his arms and I feel like I can trust him.

“Hey, why don’t I take you home,” he says and I nod into his side, he pulls out and phone and says something to someone but I’m not really paying attention to it. When he hangs up he pulls me up with him and walks me to his car. The car ride is quiet, the only the sound of the radio is heard, I can feel my eyes starting to close and I let the darkness take me. I feel myself being picked up and I open my eyes and see Trevor carrying me. I feel him dig into my pocket and take out my keys, and hear the door silently close and walk up the stairs. Then I hear my door open and I can feel my body land on something soft and the covers being pulled on over my body. He turns away and I grab his arm, “please….stay.” I say letting go and slowly falling back into the darkness, I don’t know if he heard me but when I hear the door close I don’t know why but I feel sad, that is until I feel the covers lift up and the bed dip, and arms go around me and pull me into a warm body. I turn around so that I’m facing the warm body and am met with dark forest green eyes, “you stayed?” I ask.

“Well you asked me to and you looked like you needed someone,” he says pulling the covers up more. I smile and snuggle into him more. “Thanks,” I say closing my eyes feeling the darkness slowly start to creep up on me but forced myself to stay awake. It must have been evident on my face that I was tried because Trevor just chucked at me and said “go to sleep, ok? We`ll talk more in the morning,” I nod my head and close my eyes and let the darkness take over.
