The Kingdom of Kaptan is a land of serene beauty, filled with vast fields of wheat and bountiful orchards that stretch as far as the eye can see. The kingdom is surrounded by high mountains on one side and a pristine river that snakes around it on the other. The city itself is a wonder to behold, with white stone buildings adorned with colorful banners fluttering in the wind.
The people of Kaptan are proud and brave, each of them dedicated to their role in protecting their kingdom. They are a people who are skilled in archery and horseback riding, with soldiers who are renowned for their courage and fearlessness. Despite the kingdom's size, its soldiers and people are filled with an energy that is felt across the lands.
The Kingdom of Kaptan is ruled by King Durran Kii, a man known for his wisdom and kindness. He is loved by his people, and it is said that his leadership has brought a period of great prosperity and peace to the land. Under his rule, Kaptan has become a shining example of what a kingdom should be. However, there are whispers of something more mysterious happening in the kingdom. Something that only a select few know about...
Kaptan's vast and fertile land is mostly dominated by humans, with only a handful of different creatures residing within its borders. Among them are sigbins, enigmatic beings that can transform from a giant black cat or a winged beast with razor-sharp talons to a cute, fluffy feline. They are often kept as pets by the people of Kaptan, who find them both fascinating and loyal companions.
Encantos, on the other hand, are humanoid creatures with strikingly handsome features. Most of the female encantadas, as they are called, adorn their hair with flower crowns and prefer to stay near the shores or gardens with ponds. They have a vegetarian diet, preferring fruits, vegetables, and plants for sustenance.
In Kaptan, gold and wood are the most widely used materials for weapons and armors. Their palace, a towering structure made of unbreakable hardwoods and laced with glittering gold, stands as a testament to their wealth and prosperity. But it's not just their wealth that sets them apart from other kingdoms. Kaptan's citizens possess a unique ability to bond with legendary flying creatures like three-headed birds known as Kooth, majestic dragons, and powerful phoenixes. The Kooths are massive creatures that are challenging to tame, while dragons and phoenixes are relatively easier to control. The Kingdom of Kaptan boasts of numerous flying creatures that are considered pets.
One fateful night, the King's beloved wife, Queen Maria, went into labor. The skies were dark and ominous, and rain poured heavily outside. The King anxiously waited outside the delivery room, hoping for good news. After hours of waiting, the Queen gave birth to twins - a boy and a girl. The King was overjoyed and could not contain his happiness.
However, as they celebrated the arrival of the twins, an uninvited guest entered the room. Grimina Frawd, the evil Queen of the Kingdom of Gaedour, appeared before them. She was a white lady dressed in a flowing white gown that seemed to float around her. Her presence alone was enough to make the room feel colder. The King knew that she was a powerful witch, and he felt a sense of dread as she approached.
Grimina Frawd was the Queen of the Kingdom of Gaedour, a place known to exist in a spirit realm inside a Balete tree. These giant, ancient trees were scattered throughout the Hantik Forest, each containing a different world within. And Gaedour's Balete tree was the largest of them all, its roots reaching deep into the heart of the forest.
Queen Grimina is a haunting figure, with her ethereal beauty and ashen skin. Her long black hair cascades down her back, and she always wears a long, flowing white gown. But the way she moves is what truly sets her apart - she floats above the ground, her dress billowing out behind her like smoke. Her faithful companion, a baksan named Ciawat, slithers alongside her.
Grimina had been planning her attack on Kaptan for months. She had always been envious of the kingdom's prosperity and power, and when she learned of the red stone, she knew she had to have it. She had once snuck into Kaptan's great hall of wisdom and stolen a small piece of an important scroll. The scroll contained the history of Kaptan's past kings, and she had been searching for a descendant of Duke Arman, King Durran's great grandfather. She believed that if she could find a descendant, she could use the child to control the red stone's powers.
Grimina is a creature of great intelligence and cunning. Her long years of experience have made her an expert tracker, with knowledge about the territories and tactics of her enemies. She has a network of spies, scouts, and soldiers at her disposal, including manananggals - half-bodied vampires with the ability to separate their upper body from their lower half and fly, Kapres - giant and terrifying beasts that lurk in trees, and Aswangs - non-flying, disfigured vampires that feed on human organs.
Grimina's entry into the castle was marked by the sudden shift in the atmosphere. The air grew heavy and thick with the energy of her dark magic, as she entered the room through the window. Her presence alone was enough to make the physicians tremble with fear. She is a master of deception, able to manipulate reality with her powers and cast illusions that can fool even the strongest of minds.
The Queen's room was covered with dark clouds, obscuring the view from the outside world. The thunder and rain outside drowned out any noise from within, making it impossible to hear what was happening. The helplessness of the physicians was palpable, as they were trapped within the room with the malevolent Queen. It was a moment that no one had foreseen, and one that would change the course of history for the Kingdom of Kaptan.
The tower where the Queen gave birth to the twins is a grand chamber with large windows that can show the stars' shine. There are also ornate tapestries that show Kaptan's history, from the moment the kingdom was founded by King Durran's ancestors to the victories they achieved in their battles. The room is quiet except for the occasional howling of the wind and the sound of the Queen's labored breathing.
As Queen Maria gave birth, a storm brewed outside. The thunderous roars and the flashing of lightning added to the ambiance of the room, creating an atmosphere of anxiety and fear. The physicians and midwives around her have their eyes fixated on the queen, waiting for the arrival of the newborn. They could see the sweat on her forehead, and hear her grunts and moans.
After a long and painful labor, the queen delivered twins - a boy and a girl. Everyone rejoiced, and the midwives attended to the newborns. But as they did, the room suddenly turned cold, and a figure appeared from out of nowhere. It was Grimina Frawd, the Queen of Gaedour, wearing a long white gown that floated like smoke. Her ashen skin was in contrast with her long black hair, and she had an eerie, unsettling presence.
The queen's entrance sent shivers down everyone's spine, and they watched in horror as she snatched the baby boy from the midwife's arms. The queen's baksan pet hissed and threatened the physicians and midwives, making it impossible for them to stop the abduction. Grimina then flew out the window, her white gown trailing behind her as she disappeared into the stormy night.
The castle's towers and walls were no match for Grimina's flying soldiers, who helped her escape Kaptan's boundaries. The surrounding forests of Hantik echoed with their cackling and screeching. The castle was left in silence, with only the sound of the storm raging outside. Everyone was left in shock and disbelief, and the king was devastated upon hearing the news.
Despite their powerful weapons and courage, Kaptan's people were defenseless against Grimina's dark magic and flying beasts. The kingdom's enemies, such as manananggals, Kapre, and Aswangs, could not be trusted either. The abduction of the queen's son and the threat to the kingdom's safety loomed over the people of Kaptan.
The room was filled with sorrow, with the sound of Queen Maria's sobs, and the occasional weeping of the maids. The atmosphere is gloomy and heavy, with a thick tension that could be cut with a knife. The doors slowly open, and King Durran rushes to see what is happening. He can't believe his eyes when he sees his wife weeping and cradling a baby girl.
Durran's face contorts with anger as he hears the news that his son has been taken. His fists clench, and his jaw tightens as he orders his soldiers to find the abductor. The room's atmosphere is tense, with everyone feeling the king's rage and determination to bring his son back.
The soldiers scoured the lands of Kaptan, but their search was in vain. The Hantik forest was vast and had many dangers, and the abductor had a head start. They found no trace of Grimina or her evil flying soldiers.
Despite the sadness that loomed over the kingdom, there is still a glimmer of hope. Princess Cecilia Costana Kii is still there, a symbol of hope and the future of Kaptan. The kingdom's people whisper stories about the young princess, and how she would one day rule the land with wisdom and grace, just like her mother.
