They both had very different powers as you know andy can walk through walls. But he couldn't walk through the walls in the cell but he could walk through the glass wall in front of them. James could use telekinesis and could make a invisible force field. Andy was there schedule because he had been in that section for a while. He knew the guards likes and dislikes he knew there sleep schedule and knew the times when the halls were clear. He knew everything. They knew on wednesdays the guards were on break for 25 minutes and that one fridays they are let out into the hall for 10 minutes so that was probably there best bet. So they chose friday they needed guards outfits but that wouldn’t be very hard. When james uses his invisible forcefield you cant see them behind it you all they need is to keep there fronts to the guards so they can't see them if they just get down a floor and then use the staff elevator to get too the main floor so that they could run out the back door and escape. So they had there plan but needed a way to get out of the cell. So Andy would walk through the glass and let out james so that they could get out together. The night was slowly approaching they decided to do it on a friday so they could get mixed in with the crowd the crowd. They woke up the next day it was a bright wednesday and the two were pumped for the escape as they both forgot what the outside world looked like. The only thing they had was a 2 inch window in there cell so the odd time there would be a crack so they can feel fresh air.
