We bought two adult tickets for the latest superhero movie. The movie is part of a cinematic multiverse. In the past, I genuinely enjoyed watching these movies, but lately it felt like Hollywood is just making these movies to continue a story that they could have ended long ago.

"I'm going to buy some popcorn, do you want your own or do you want to share?" Kam was already holding his wallet in his hand.

"My own, you always end up eating half of mine anyway," I answered.

Kam has a habit of taking things from me without asking.

"Food tastes better when it's someone else's," he joked, but in the end he paid for his own food as well as mine.

"Thanks," I said

"Do I get a thank you kiss?" He puckered up his lips.

"No."

Definitely not in public, it would have been too embarrassing.

"Aww, one day you're going to want to kiss me and I'm going to say 'no' just out of spite."

That didn't seem very likely to me.

"Yeah right."
