I began to think about my family and the life I left behind as I took a deep breath. “Do they miss me?” this thought ran through my mind as I sat down and played with the darkness. I began to zone out before a crash brought me back to reality. “Who’s there?” I asked as I stood up. “Are they going to kill me?” “Maybe they want to see if I’m the monster everyone says I am” I began to think as I walked over to the crash. Once I made it over there, I saw broken glass and blood “Whose blood is this?” I thought as I looked around for the source, but saw nothing. I put my finger in the blood and smelled it. My eyes widen “I’ve smelled this blood before. The day my brother died” I thought as I looked around afraid.

The wind blew and the smell of blood filled the air. I kept looking around to find the source of the blood, but there was still nothing. “How is this possible?” I asked myself as I stepped away from the puddle of blood. It began to rain hard and the blood slowly washed away as thunderstruck, causing me to hide in the dark alley. Two hours past since the rain started and I slept in the shadows that protected me from sight and the rain, but something woke me up from my deep sleep. I stayed in the shadows so I wouldn’t get spotted, but I knew that I had to leave so I wouldn’t get harmed.
