Days have past since Mercy sensed the figure, but it still lingered near without being detected. The figure kept their distance from Sky, but also kept a close watch day and night. Sky walked to a thrift shop that she used to go to everyday before her father past. She still didn’t fully recover from the sight she saw that night but she kept moving forward because it’s what her mother would want her to do.
A small bell rang as Sky and Mercy walked through the big wooden doors of the thrift shop. A young woman came around the corner to welcome the customers “Welcome to the Sanchez Thrift Sho-” she stopped as she spotted Sky. The woman smiled and hugged Sky tightly “Little Child where have you been? I haven’t seen you in weeks” she said happily. “Papa left like Mama did” Sky wept in the woman's arms. The young lady held Sky close as she explained that Sky may stay here with her and Mercy can stay too until they can get back onto their feet's and move on. Mercy began to growl softly at the door to warn whoever was at the door to not come in or he would attack.
