There was a rumor that spread throughout the country of Japan. It was said that if you had a wish, and you want that wish to come true, just gather a few of your valued jewelry. And once you gathered them, a beautiful young girl will appear to you. A young girl carrying a very beautiful and very shiny jewelry box, wearing cute Lolita dresses, and has golden eyes, with rare color of hair. Her hair is somewhat orange that flows to Violet, to Green. She was a very beautiful lady. Yet, she doesn't look Asian. She looks like she's French, but she always appears in Japan. She will ask you what your wish is. But, you won't say your wish aloud, you'll just think of your wish and she can read your wish. When that happens, the box that she was carrying with her will open and so many wondrous and luxurious things will flash beyond your eyes. And those things came inside of the box. After that, the girl will tell you to put those valued treasures of your in her jewelry box. Don't be sad, she won't prank you and take your stuff just for fun. And again, many mysterious things came out of the box as you were full of amazement. And as that happened, She'll say to you, “Your wish is now granted. But remember, your wish will only last for one week. If you don't use your time wisely, then your wish will be a complete waste...for you can only summon me once...which is why you should be careful on what you wish for..." And so, just like that, she's gone. But she left a note that said your wish. . .

But...it was just a rumor so I won't believe it!

My name is Kyoushiro Kotobuki. I am a young Japanese man studying at Kyouron High school. It's just a public school near my house. I am exactly 15 years old. It was my birthday last Tuesday. And I am the school's role model. And I am the Valedictorian of the class. I also belong to many clubs, participate in many events and also have many friends. I also go to a Karate class so no bullies approach me. And My Father works as a Captain of the Japanese Navy. And my Mother is a very healthy housewife. She is a very strong woman for she was part of the military before. And I have my little sister who is best in everything in my eyes. She is MY precious princess. I love my little sister so much. She is half of the world to me. If anyone tries to treat her badly, well, I'll tear them to shreds. That's how much I love my little sister. Long story short, my life is amazing! Nothing could possibly go wrong!

But recently, we received a report that, Kotobuki Hiyajiro, The Captain of the Japanese Navy, a loving father, has....died in mission....

That was the day that Darkness fell upon my family. Our loved Father has met his downfall.

Not long after that, my mother wasn't feeling very good lately. Often, she'd vomit blood. This saddened me more to see my mother in pain and my sister in fear. So, not long we immediately took her for a checkup. We stayed there for so long for the doctor can't find her sickness. So, we stayed in the hospital for a while. She was still vomiting blood. Until, the doctor called me to his office. With a deep breathe, he told me, “I am sad to say that we can't find a miracle for your mother. She...her disease cannot be found. And in this case, I don't think she'll recover from this. I am very sorry"

I replied, "Really? There really isn't anything that'll help my mother? THIS ISN'T A JOKE! WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO US! DID YOU JUST REALIZE THE STRUGGLES THAT WE ARE FACING RECENTLY?! I JUST LOST MY DAD LAST MONDAY, DO YOU KNOW THAT! YOU'RE A DOCTOR YOU IDIOT!!"

So, I left his room, took my mother and my little sister, and went home from that too-good-hospital-of-a-name...

Bad luck has been reaching out to our door Everytime. It's frustrating. Due to this happenings traumatized me; I stopped attending school for a month. I didn't study for as long as I can remember. I only stayed home and played computer games. The Last time I went back to school was like 7 months ago.

Until, one Saturday of September came. My mother collapsed. My little sister shivering, and crying, little does she know that Death was knocking on her mother's door. I could remember how I got mad at her for scaring my little sister. But even so, she smiled at me. She whispered to me ear, " Kyoushi-kun, don't lose HOPE. You and Ruiko will be the only ones left of our little family. And I'll be seeing your father very soon. So, please...just…a...favor…please...don’t...stop...being...the best...always ...study hard...never give up..."

I will mother...*sob* please...say 'hi' to father for me"

"Kyoushi-kun, Rui-chan, my beloved children...always remember…that your mother has always loved you...."

She breathed her last breath...

So, only the two of us left...

So, this is how it goes...my life is so wrecked...

2 years passed

I have to fulfill my mother's wish. So, I went to school. But sadly, I wasn't the old Kyoushiro that everyone knew. They didn't even know who I am. I went to my classroom hoping that I could still see my classmates. As I entered the room, everyone stared at me. I realized that...class just started. I went to the teacher and said ," Sorry I'm late teacher.."

The teacher said gallantly, " mmm....Who are you?"

"Have you not realized ,sir? I am Kyoushiro Kotobuki! Your stude---"

I looked at the teacher and he wasn't the adviser I had...What's Going on?! I searched from the class and looked for Takeshi Hirasawa, Hajime Miyamoto and my girlfriend, Sakuya Kiriyama...but...they weren't there....I looked at the students and just realized that there uniforms are already new...a memory flashed upon my eyes, that our principal introduced the new design of our uniforms. And so it is...How could it be? This is impossible! How many years has it been?

I ran to the Principal's office, with a relieving sigh, it was still the old Principal, Good Gracious. What a relief!

I went and talked to the Principal, " Good Morning Mr. Takashima, how are you going?"

The Principal jumped from his chair in shock holding a pepper spray, " WHO ARE YOU!! I DON'T REMEMBER ENROLLING A HOMELESS MAN HERE!! "

"Takashima-san, it's me, Kotobuki Kyoushiro"

"WHAT? Kotobuki!! What happened to you?"

"Well, sir...it's a long story,. But I have a question to ask you first..."

"Well, sure go ahead, after all, you were my favorite student"

"Gee, sir thanks! Oh and um, where's Kiriyama, Hirasawa and Miyamoto went to? And how many years has it been lately?"

"Oh well, Kiriyama worked at SenaPro Company. Hirasawa is now an Engineer, Miyamoto is now a Manga Artist. Kiriyama WAS your girlfriend wasn't she? Well she told me that she doesn't wanna be with you anymore. I 'm sorry. But I remember that chat we had one time. She cried and told me that she thinks you hate her. She thought that you hate her. She said she tried to visit you but you didn't open the door. She even said that your mother answered the door and said that you were sulking in your room. She said she loved someone else. Right now, she’s married to your best friend Hirasawa. I am sorry, Kotobuki. "

"Why? How many years has it been?"

"Since you were gone, it was like 5 years. I'm really sorry to tell you that you were supposed to retain 5 times. But it seems like you stopped your school and haven't graduated yet. As I went home, I saw some girls. They seem like they have an interesting topic going on their conversation. I listened to them.

" HEY! You guys! You should try something tonight!"

"Like what Michiyo?"

"Have you heard the rumor of the dream box?"

"NO, what is it?"

"It's said that you should gather some of your jewelries and make a wish. But it was said that you should be alone to do that. And when you do, a cute girl will appear to you and said that she will make your dreams come true!! Isn't that cool!?"

"Yea! Let's try that!!"

" 'Kay! See you tomorrow!"

Still that rumor never ceased yet. It was still there ever since. That's just nonsense!!

...Ruiko! I'm Home!

This time, Ruiko, my precious sister will be the next victim of this family...she was lying on the floor. I placed her on the couch. She slept there soundly. She said that she missed me gripping on my clothes. She gripped harder when I was about to go to the kitchen to prepare her something. She told me to stay with her and not to leave her. ...

...I really wish I didn’t...

When I came to her she was still sleeping. I tried waking her up so she could eat now. But she really won’t. I tried my best to wake her up. I carried her to a nearby hospital and took her there. The doctor gravely told me..

"...I’m sorry, there are no more life signs in your sister"

....

I cried for two days....

I loved her so much, I didn't bury her. I kept her corpse there lying on the couch...

So, I guess I have to try the Dream box now, I have to see my little sister's smile again.

At that night, I looked for my mother's golden necklaces and bracelets and gathered them all together. And I had one wish. And that is to spend my last days with my little sister.

So, there she proved me that it wasn't a rumor. It was true facts. The dream Box is real and it is within that lady's hands.

"Who are you?"

The lady replied, " I am Morticia. I am the guardian of the Dream Box. I have come here to grant your wishes"

....so I wish and put Mom's jewelries inside her box...and rainbows, ribbons and butterflies kept flying around her box.

"Your wish is granted..." she said and vanished leaving a note that said," I wish to spend my last days with my little sister.." Indeed, that was my wish...I felt tired, and lay asleep beside my little treasure...

Tomorrow came. I could hear someone shouting at me. I opened my eyes and saw Ruiko Kotobuki. It was true my little sister was brought to me!!

And so, we spend our days together, went to the amusement park, to the hot springs, to Hokkaido, to Disney land, To the beach, etc. We went to everywhere we can spend our lives happily!

And so, our final destination came. And we rode a train not knowing where it would take us. So, we spent our days together. And we met our Parents in Heaven and we became happy together as a family…
