I come home, open the door and what greets me are 3 strangers on my couch and a giant portal in the middle of my living room. “Who are you???” I said “Why are you here??”, one of them stood up, it was a girl with a pointy witch hat and answered “My name is Elizabeth Demetria, we’ve come to take you.”. What... “Take me where exactly?” I said, another person stood up and spoke “To Vydelygma.”.

I couldn’t begin to process what was going on, I come home from the library, then three strangers appear on my couch and want to take me to a place called vydely-what? “Vydelygma.” said the last stranger “We’re taking you to Vydelygma.” Wait, he can hear me? “Yes I can.” He said as I look at him in a frightened but astonished reaction.

“Wait, why are you taking me?” said I. “Vydelygma is on the breach of destruction by the Thetikos and so we are gathering people who have the special ability to decrease their level” he responded. “… Special? What’s the point of leveling down?” I said, he sighed and said “There’s a lot of things you don’t yet understand, come with us and you might fill your head with something useful.”

… I mean, 3 vs 1 is practically clear enough to say I can’t say no to this. He just insulted me too, my head is filled with something! It’s called a brain… “Okay… but, I need to make one phone call” I said to which he replied “Make it quick.”. I desperately call the police department, but I ended up on the voice mail… “Hello and welcome to the police department’s voice box, as of today onwards, police have retired from trying to stop crime since more and more criminals are showing signs of supernatural abilities.”

No way… Is it that serious? “W-who are the Thetikos?” I demanded, “The Thetikos are a faction of humans in Vydelygma who have the inborn ability to bend matter to their will. We have been in constant war with them for the past few centuries” the girl responded. “… Is there some way in which those Thetikos could enter this world?” I asked. “Of course.” Said the second guy.

“What can my decreased level pose a threat to them exactly?” I said as the third stranger picked me up and said “I’ll explain along the way” and headed into the portal. “No! Wait, I don’t want to go!” was what I said before we entered the portal. What should I do? How do I get back home? Why do I have to go?! “Stop thinking! You’re making my head ache…” said the third person.

Geez, I can’t even panic in my head now… “Who are you guys anyway” I asked, “confidential information” said the girl. I feel like I’m being kidnapped. Oh wait, I am… I’m being whisked away into Vydelygma… to decrease the level of the Thetikos? I think that’s what I’m being kidnapped for.

… This situation is too unrealistic, it’s like my life just turned into one of those fantasy novels. This isn’t a fantasy novel right? It better not be a fantasy novel. And how am I and another few -0 leveled people going to defeat the Thetikos? The odds look one sided. I was thinking about this as we were travelling to Vydelygma, after arriving, the stranger dropped me on the floor and said "We have arrived..."
