I have learned over the years that the possibility of people saying no to me has held me back. I learned today that just asking never hurts. Although it sounds cliche, it's true just because you think to yourself their going to say no don't let that stop you. Try taking baby steps or just go for it like I did today. (Spoiler for an upcoming episode) Asking people I look up too if I could write about their comics was scary for me, so I started small. My goal was to ask creators of other series if I could write about their work. So I made a list of comics I enjoyed and out of my list, I picked three creators that I would be most comfortable to ask. So I posted on their wall my goal as a new creator. Two out of three have said yes the other hasn't responded yet. When these creators responded I was very excited and having these creators say yes made me feel welcomed into the Tapas community. So if anyone ever is becoming a creator and they are struggling to get noticed I hope they come to me. It would personally make my day and even though I am just starting out I won't lose hope and I will eventually grow larger than I could ever imagine.
