A/N: Guess who's back britchezzzz. I am alive, I am well, I am- *sneezes* still slightly under the weather. I've also had a horribly busy week. School projects are what the devil created for artists who just want to build their skill up. Also menstruation. But enough about that, enjoy the chapter!

Yuki's POV
I sigh, sitting in the upright practice chair, trying to focus on the teacher's lecture, and not how my best friend wasn't even here, even though we were in the same year of band, and there were no others classes of this level of band, and we both had signed up. I run through the scenarios as to why he might not be here.
Scenario one, our band teacher from last year either forgot to recommend him to this class, or didn't think he was skilled enough to be. Although both notions were highly unlikely, because Will was one of her favourite students last year. So that one is out of the picture.
Scenario two, Will was still mad at me, and decided to skip class. No. Will isn't petty like that, he would talk our problem through and be honest with how he felt about it.
Scenario three, Will is secretly a halfbloo- Nope. I've met his parents, they're the type of parents that provide snacks for a kindergarten class their children aren't even in. And Will looks like the perfect mix between the both of them, so that isn't it.
Okay, then scenario four. The most likely scenario. Will went down to the office to make sure the both of us, Monique and I, were okay. And probably to say that it was his fault or whatever. He's such a saint.
I sigh and brush my fingers through my hair, checking my phone for any messages from him for the fiftieth time. I was worried about him. I hate double texting, but maybe this time wouldn't hurt. I send the second, Are you okay? You're not mad at me, are you? In a row. After about half a minute of staring at the screen, I sigh and put my phone back into my jeans front pocket.
Only to have it buzz two seconds later. I groan and pull it out of my pocket, staring at the screen to see who it's from. Will!
Bluerobin: Hey, you okay? I'm sorry for what I did...
Bluerobin: Are you okay? You're not mad at me are you?
WILLyounot: yeh, im good. I was at the office talking to them pplz to get you out. Turns out you were already- well, out. Anyways, im omw. And i have a suurprise for you~~~
Bluerobin: Oh god...
I sigh and roll my eyes, smiling slightly at his horrible spelling and grammar. My stomach flips however, when I realize that he had a surprise for me.When it comes to Will, that could mean anything. I grumble and fidget, already nervous as to what it could mean.
Naomi's POV
I smile happily to myself as we enter a hallway, glad to be rid of the hot toxic air. Using my free hand to pat down my hair, I finally decided to start the conversation between us.
"So, Will. Not to be nosy, but who were you texting just now?" I ask curiously, placing my hand securely back onto my tote bag to reassure myself it was not falling.
"Hmm? Oh, my best friend Yuki. She's pretty cool once you get know her, and she's super smart too! She knows more about comic books and superheroes then I do." He says. An air of pride swarming around him as if he was talking about his own family.
"Was she the person you were trying to get out of trouble this morning?" I ask nimbly, hoping not to step over any lines.
"Yes, partly. She and my girlfriend got in a fight. Well, to be honest, I don't know what to call her anymore. It's one thing for her to hurt me, but Yuki is practically family. She hurt me by hitting her in so many ways." Will responds, picking up his pace a little bit as if trying to shake the conversation. I decide not to press any further and ask something else.
"So, how long have you known Yuki?" I ask, not just asking to change the subject.
"We met in elementary, I'll tell you the story later, cause we just arrived to the band room!" He announces, whipping open a door. A blast of chatter slaps my ears as soon as the door opens, a mix and flurry of words creating a vortex of unruly sound.
"Oh, Will Rileys, a pleasure for you to finally show up in class." A snotty voice from the front proclaims, and I can feel dozens of eyes moving their direction toward Will and I, making me shudder from the attention.
Yuki's POV
I look over, wondering why everyone stopped talking. The girl in front of me turns all the way around in her chair, before making an uncomfortable amount of eye contact with me before rolling her eyes and looking over at the door. How's that for a confidence booster.
Finally, letting curiosity get the better of me, I turn around. It took me a second to realize the scene in front of me, for so many kids were blocking my few with their stupid thick skulls. My best friend, talking to the teacher, with his arm wrapped around a girl. I couldn't quite see her face, but the fluttery feeling in my stomach told me I didn't need to see her to know.
Once the confusion in me settled, a new feeling overtook, slightly confusing me and setting me off guard. Not anger... jealousy. It takes me a long minute to realize why I was feeling this way. My eyes once again settle onto Will's strong arm wrapped tightly around her small frame. Bingo.
Not knowing what quite came over me, I find myself abruptly standing up and walking over to them. Will looks over at me and smiles, waving me over. For some odd reason, his ignorance towards the situation angered me even more.
"Ah, Ms. Kim. Would you please show these two to their appropriate seats? It seems that they are much too fond of creating a ruckus in the class." Mr. Baritone, the band teacher tells me. I nod, stifling a laugh as Will makes a gagging gesture towards Mr.B's back. The godes- er, girl then pulls on Will's sleeve, before whispering into her ear. Bringing my jealousy right back, soaring through the roof.
Instead of focusing on that, I try looking at her other details. She wore simple black framed sunglasses pushed up on her forehead, the rhinestones glittering from the fluorescent lighting. A simple yellow sundress billowed around her figure, graceful showing off her curves. Unknowingly, I blush, only noticing it when Mr. B stops his lecture about late students, to ask me if I was feeling well. I plaster on a smile and nod yes, turning to Will for reassurance, only to have him give me a not so subtle wink.
I roll my eyes and elbow his side lightly, before leading him and the girl over to a row of empty chairs in the back, trying to ignore Will's arm still draped around her. I sit down in a seat in front of them, turning my body around so I was sitting in the chair 'backwards', and facing them.
"So, Will, wanna introduce me to this new friend of yours?" I ask, trying to sound as suave and casual as possible.
"Oh, right! This is my friend... fuck." He turns to Naomi, who was twiddling her thumbs, her curl natural hair falling over her face and covering her eyes. "Sweetheart, what was your name again?"
She looks up, biting her lip and blushing slightly before speaking.
"R-right, Uhm. My names Naomi. Naomi Reynolds, p-pleasure to meet you." She stutters in an incredibly feminine voice. I didn't know whether to be jealous of how soft her voice was, or to completely fall in love with it. I watch as she extends a pudgy short arm in my direction.
"Nice to meet you too Naomi. I'm sure Will has already introduced himself, but I'm Yuki. Yuki Kim. I hope we become frie-" I cut off, not wanting to friend zone myself after just meeting her. "Close. I hope we become really close." I hum, more to myself, taking her soft hand and lightly shaking it. I couldn't help but repeat her name over and over in my head, making me grin idiotically. Naomi Reynolds.
