I woke up late the next morning, I was still drowsy though. Me and Apollo met at the tower, he started talking about the recruitment from the tower. He told me that it was made to recruit new soldiers for the war against the Thetikos, when he found out about it he wasn’t comfortable with the recruitment anymore.

I question him why; he was practically risking his life fighting monsters but doesn’t want to fight the Thetikos? He didn’t want to answer, he just said that he’d leave the recruitment as soon as they plan to launch an attack. He apologizes, I tell him that there’s no need for that since I wasn’t the one who started the recruitment.

Just then, the leader of the recruitment called everyone to make an announcement. “I’ve called you all to tell you this, we’ve recruited you from around Vydelygma for the war against the Thetikos. Most of you, hopefully, have done at least two quests.” they said “Training will commence starting this evening, inform your party.”

Apollo looked at me and sighed, “Meet me at the harbor, two pm.” He said as he walked away. Yui came to the tower late and I told her what the situation was, she told me to bring her with me when I went to meet with Apollo. So at two pm me and Yui went to the harbor, we met up with Apollo and Apollo told me he didn’t want Yui here.

“She deserves to be here, she’s a member of our party.” I tell him.

Apollo tells me that it’s best for her not to be here, Yui stops him from talking and asks him why he doesn’t want to fight against the Thetikos. Apollo sighs and mumbles something, I tell him to speak louder. He stays quiet for a few seconds and then he mumbles again, Yui tells him to speak up since he kept mumbling.

“I’M THE SON OF THE LEADER OF THETIKOS!” he shouts.

Yui froze for a second, I look at him and went silent for a minute then tell him that there’d be no problem with that. Yui turns to me and tells me that there was a very big problem, “What.” I said. “I’m the daughter of the leader of Vydelygma.” Shocked to be in a party with the children of two leaders, I stand dumbfounded.

Apollo apologized for not telling us sooner, he told us that he joined this since he thought it was just a training camp. I ask him why he went all the way to Vydelygma to train, he laughs for a bit then says he was on vacation before they attacked Gi. Yui stayed quiet and thought of something, she looks at me then Apollo.

She binds Apollo in some magical shackles, then she looks at me. I tell her to calm down, there’s no need for this I say. “Do you have any idea how much of an advantage we’d have in the war if we have the leader’s son in captivity?” She asks. I look at Apollo who tries to wriggle out of the shackles then I turn to Yui.

“This isn’t right, Apollo had nothing to do with the war in the first place” I say.

Yui stops for a minute. She looks at Apollo and remove the shackles, Apollo was going to thank her but she ran away before he could. He then turns to me and thanks me, I tell him that I did nothing. We went home and I think about what’d happened. This was bad. Very bad.
