Once again, Kenny did not wake up to the best of sounds. The man could barely contain the groans of pain that wanted to escape his lips. A loud ringing blare enclosed the room, and Kenny was helpless to do anything.
He finally groaned, not able to help it and quickly rolled onto his stomach then yanked the covers over his head. Kenny bit his lip at the racket, mentally cursing it.
He could distinctly hear Exo getting out of the bed beside him in a rush. Kenny didn't bother getting out from under the multiple layers of blankets that were basically just one big pile of blankets forming an immense cover for Kenny.
Finally, it stopped. Kenny released a sigh of relief, which he didn't even have the chance to finish as his feet were grabbed and he was quickly yanked off the bed.
"Fresh hell," Kenny wheezed, not even given a chance to stand up as he was thrown over Exo's shoulder. Kenny stared dejectedly at Exo's back, his legs swinging to each step Exo took.
When Kenny glanced to the side, he found himself in what he had assumed was some sort of bathroom earlier. "What did you carry me into here for," Kenny tapped Exo's thigh a couple of times, trying to make the alien put him down but not annoy him.
Thankfully it seemed to work, Exo leaned forward and down a bit to place Kenny on his feet. "Well?" Kenny waved his hands around, wondering just what the alien carried him to the room for.
Exo made this sound that almost sounded like a grunt, but it was strangely gravelly that it surprised Kenny for a few seconds. Exo hadn't even opened his mouth, but Kenny knew that the noise came from him.
"That was weird," Kenny said rather bluntly, reaching up to scratch at the back of his neck. Exo ignored him as he went to the wall near the shower heads. He just had to press his hand against the wall for a glowing panel appeared.
It looked to just be made from blue light, but when Exo tapped a couple of times that made Kenny doubt it. He knows it's worth a try to figure out what everything is, but he most likely won't be able to figure out what anything is made from or what its purpose is until he receives a translator tablet.
Exo stepped back from the panel just as blue slime began to drop from the shower heads. Kenny couldn't say anything as he was tugged under the green slime, clothes on and everything.
"No! Nope!" Kenny struggled against the hands gripping his forearms. The slime was a disgusting half solid half liquid, just enough to slide down his body in a rather disgusting manner in Kenny's opinion.
Kenny blinked his eyes multiple times to keep the slime out of his eyes, and he finally noticed that Exo isn't even standing near him. Oh no, the alien is keeping him at arm's length; well out of the way of getting any slime on him and his black body suit.
Kenny scowled at the alien, the slime sticking to his hair and clothes like a second skin. "I'm wearing clothes," Kenny slowly dragged out each word, grabbing onto his clothes and shaking them for effect.
Exo studied him for one, two, three minutes before realization seemed to hit him. Exo let go of Kenny and stepped back. Kenny glared at Exo for a few seconds, but he relented soon over the prospect of getting his slime ridden clothes off.
He easily took off his torn shirt, stepped out of his combat boots, and then slipped out of his pants along with his socks. Kenny left on his briefs. Exo gave the clothes a weird look, the kind of look a person would give to something gross or nasty.
Kenny noticed the look, "Really," he drawled out. The slime just felt disgusting on his skin, and he had finally had enough. He stepped out of the area where the slime dripped. Exo stepped back from Kenny, as though the alien didn't want the slime-covered human near him now.
"Klopce, yuivo mlano." Exo pointed back to the slime. Kenny determinedly shook his head, rejecting the order. Exo's nose twitched, and his amber eyes with black slits narrowed at Kenny.
"Look, just look at it. Even you don't want to be touched by it!" Kenny just had to slide his hand down his own arm to gather a ton of blue slime into his palm.
He held it out towards Exo, who backed up again at the sight of the disgusting substance. "Teoca," Exo approached the glowing panel and tapped it a couple of times. The blue slime stopped, and a clear liquid with a tint of purple began to drip.
It was some type of liquid. Exo pushed Kenny back under the sprays. This time Kenny didn't struggle, and he used the liquid to help get off all the slime. When he began to get wash the slime off, he noticed it left an inexplicable smell on him.
It wasn't exactly foul, but it was so unique that Kenny came up blank on what it smelled like. Kenny sniffed his shoulder, so confused by what is being poured on him. All the sudden Exo was close to him, and rubbing something in his hair.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Kenny is tired of freaking out, and he just wants this weird as hell shower to be over. Exo seemed to be rubbing something in his hair, but he was being surprisingly gentle.
Kenny tilted his head to look at the alien's face, which showed that Exo appeared somewhat fixated by his hair. Kenny furrowed his brows, glancing at Exo's own hair. It didn't look all too different. Sure, that pale tone is slightly atypical, but it still seemed to be normal hair despite its odd gleam.
Kenny has been told he has soft, almost fluffy brown hair. Kenny endured the gentle hand in his hair, and he even began to enjoy it. A few minutes passed of Exo washing Kenny's hair, then he moved his head out of the way, so he could clean whatever substance he had been using was removed from Kenny's strands.
The peculiar water wasn't so bad now, sure- it has a purple tint, but Kenny has dealt with much worse on his travels. "So, what now?" Kenny glanced down at his own body, which was soaked but now clean. Even Exo's suit had gotten wet, which gave Kenny a bit of a smug satisfaction.
That didn't last long when Exo approached the panel once ore, and the water stopped. In its place wind began to shoot out, whipping Kenny's short hair around and easily drying him within seconds.
Exo approached him again, and he simply watched Kenny try to block the wind but only managed drying up faster. It wasn't super strong or anything, just really annoying to Kenny, especially so because Exo's suit was no longer wet. Meaning he didn't have any reason to take it off now.
The winds finally stopped; Kenny glared at Exo, not at all grateful for the fast but annoying way he was dried off. Exo seemed to not give a shit and merely gestured for Kenny to follow him back into the bedroom. Kenny glanced down at his clothes, not sure what he is supposed to do with the sopping articles of clothing now, but picked them up anyways.
When he entered the room, he saw that Exo had changed into something like what he had been wearing yesterday. He wore a turtle neck with a long white dust coat, only it wasn't at all dusty and had amber colored cuffs. On the back was this emblem of what looked like a planet comparable to Jupiter, with a couple rings around it and there were what Kenny could only assume were words above it. Maybe it is their home planet?
Kenny shook his head. He can't wait to get his hands on one of those translator tablets. The rest of Exo's outfit consisted of white boots and black pants, or something that looked like pants, but it was made of an odd material that almost looked like metal.
Unfortunately, Exo also wore a belt that had a holster, and attached to it was another one of those damn guns. There were a few other things attached to the belt, but Kenny had no idea as to what they could be.
Exo turned to Kenny, eyeing the human for a couple moments, but Kenny grew tired of it and approached him. "Can I have some clothes, please? Or can we dry these?" Kenny knows very well that Exo can't understand, but it's worth a try to at least attempt at communication.
Exo glanced down at the clothes that Kenny held, but made no move to touch them. Instead, he turned to the panel in that room and activated something, because Kenny could hear machinery working in the walls. He scanned the room, and saw a small portion of the wall near the dresser opened.
"Coa," Exo pointed to it. Kenny weighed his options. It's near the dresser, or whatever that is, so maybe it leads to some sort of laundry room? He released a sigh when he realized he doesn't have much of a choice. Kenny halfheartedly went to it and dumped his clothes inside.
The small hatch closed when Kenny's hands were out of the way. "Am I ever going to see those clothes again? That was my favorite casual shirt," Kenny spoke the truth, it indeed was. Kenny has a lot of good memories being particularly lazy in that shirt.
Exo didn't respond, instead choosing to reach out and grab Kenny. He tugged the human over to the dresser. Kenny sent a mental thanks to whoever is watching over him because he was beginning to think the alien was just going to force him to walk around in his undergarment.
The dresser, of course, wasn't your standard human dresser. Now that Kenny was close to it, he could see that there weren't any drawers, only a touch screen on the top resembling the table in the meeting room that Kenny had been in just about a day ago.
Exo turned it on, the screen lighting up a faint blue for a few moments before it began to display clothes. "Neat," Kenny commented, reaching his hand out to touch it. Exo swatted Kenny's hand away, glaring at him.
Kenny merely released a sigh at the alien's hostility and stood back, assuming the alien was choosing some clothes out for him. He could see the clothes, but there were also words and symbols that he had no clue to what they meant. Still, it wasn't too hard to notice that Exo seemed just to be browsing for now.
"Pick something out already," he was beginning to feel impatient standing there almost entirely naked. Exo only spared Kenny an irritated glance over his shoulder. Kenny shook his head; the alien is a grumpy and hostile fashionista.
Finally, after what felt like half an hour of just standing there, Kenny watched as Exo stepped back from the dresser. The touchscreen on top of it slid up and back against the wall to reveal an opening. Clothes were lifted and then offered, skillfully folded and arranged. Kenny even saw what looked like to be a pair of shoes under the neatly folded clothes.
Exo tapped Kenny on the shoulder, a welcome change from the usual yanking and grabbing. The alien pointed to the clothes, "Yeah, don't worry I'll put the clothes on." Kenny couldn't hide his chuckle of amusement at the flash of impatience on Exo's face.
Ok so far Kenny knows this about the alien: he is impatient, commanding, a closeted fashionista, doesn't like showing his body, and he dislikes slime. It is amusing really to the biologist. Kenny grabbed the clothes, inspecting them and finding out that they are quite similar to Exo's current outfit.
It began with a long-sleeved grey shirt, that was thankfully not a turtleneck because Kenny hates the feeling of anything around his neck. The material was another thing that Kenny could add to the list of ' odd ' articles. It was similar to silk and was thin.
The pants were almost a replica of the leather-like pants that Exo wore; only this pair was white. Kenny was immediately not a big fan of them; it felt like they were squeezing his legs, and left nothing to the imagination. They looked the same on Exo, but he didn't appear to be the least bit bothered by having his legs a squeezed.
Then there was the pair of boots. It was like a pair of boots from some disco party. Thankfully there was no heel, but they reached Kenny's knees, and he honestly was beginning to feel like a male stripper just wearing them. They were a grey that faded into a white at the top.
"I hope I get my clothes back," the man murmured to himself as he looked at himself in the mirror. Kenny didn't bother doing anything to his brown curls on his head. Kenny looked back up to see Exo was also assessing him in the mirror.
"Pealo, zaste." Kenny got the distinct feeling that the alien is making fun of him. Probably about how he looked in the clothes. Exo looked him up and down, pausing to stare obviously at Kenny's crotch. "Dude," Kenny reached down and covered his fully clothed crotch, not appreciating the attention on it.
"You guys must not have balls if you are wearing these types of pants every day," Kenny stated, hoping the alien would understand that Kenny is now making fun of him. Thankfully Exo seemed to; the alien narrowed his eyes at the human. Kenny smirked in amusement, feeling smug that the creature was apparently able to that little jab.
Exo released a shrill, screech like nose that had Kenny jumping in place, evidently startled by the otherworldly sound. "What the hell was that?" Kenny whirled around to face the alien, glaring up at Exo. Exo suddenly shoved Kenny against the wall, not showing any care for the mirror or Kenny.
