I glanced over at my friend Chase hoping he would invite me over so I could escape Liam and the uncomfortable feeling that was growing in me. Of course Chase was off in his own world again. “So where do you live?” I asked Liam trying to start up a new conversation with him. “I live in the old house near the woods at the end of the street.” He said looking dead ahead with a plain voice. I nodded finding it odd to believe that someone would be living in the house. It was very old and unsafe with weak floorboards and holes in the ceiling. “Oh really I wasn’t aware that there was anyone living there.” Liam nodded and we went on walking this way before Chase waved goodbye at us and ran up ahead. Now it was just me and Liam and I could feel my stomach twisting with anxiety. I still didn’t know what it was about him that made me so nervous but I wanted to get away from now.

We walked a bit farther and then Liam’s house came up. “See you tomorrow Adam.” He said in a creepy tone before walking into the old broken down house. As soon as the door shut behind I bolted back down the street and ran to the safety of my house not wanting to think about what would happen tomorrow.
