My father placed the new crown on my head and smiled at the mer-people around us. “I’m proud to show you all your new king!” He shouted making them all cheer with joy. I did my part and waved at them all with a smile on my face. Then my dad brought the staff over and the big part began. “Dipper Pines will you take the oath?” He asked me with a serious look on his face. I took a deep breath and nodded placing my hand on the staff knowing that there was no going back now. “ I Dipper Pines hereby swear to speak for the people, To Protect the kingdom I love and call my home.” The staff glowed to show that the Ceremony was complete and I was now the King of sea. Later that night as the Ceremony would go our father passed away peacefully in his sleep.
