The night was fun, we danced, laughed and ate. I don’t feel like anything’s changed with the guys, they still laugh and joke around with me. Hercules is back to calling me Ping which I don’t mind, I just hope that means that he’s fine with me being a girl. We were sitting at one of the tables having a good time when someone busted through one of the doors and started to barge through the crowd.
“Where is he?” the guy yelled. “Where is Ping?” My whole team stood up from the table. The guy I had fought in the championship walked over to us. He looked scary angry. A gang of ugly guys followed behind him. “Where is Ping?” I walked to the front and stood in front of the guy.
“I’m Ping.”
“You’re a girl. My opponent was a boy.”
“Your opponent was me.” His friends laughed. He didn’t seem to care that I was a girl. He charged at me, his arms out straight trying to grab me. I dived to the side and quickly got to my feet. Kicking off my shoes and ripping my skirt, bring the slit from my knee to the top of my thigh. The people in the room surrounded us creating a ring of people. He charged at me again and I threw a series of punches and kicks at him. I kept pushing him back with my kicks until he caught my foot and pulled me to him. His big meaty hand traveled up my leg making me want to vomit. I waited until he pulled me close enough to him. Bending backward I threw my legs over my head kicking him in the face. As soon as I landed I twisted and threw another kick at him, landing it in his gut. All the air rushed out of him and he fell back. I put my foot to his throat and pressed down. “Now don’t bother me again!” I won. I Won! He was down and I was still standing. The guys ran over to him and picked him off the floor, handing him to security to take him the police station.
“Are you okay?” the guys all asked at once. All I could do was smile at them. I showed them that just because I’m a girl now doesn’t mean that I can’t do what I did when I was a guy. They surrounded me, hugging me and patting me on the back. Chang pulled me out of the group and hugged me close to him.
“Mulan.”
“Yes.”
“I love you.” I grinned up at him and pulled his face down to mine.
“I love you too,” I whispered to him before giving him a soul searching kiss.
