(A/n: woohoo! I can’t believe how long this chapter is going to be! I’m so proud! Also Mabel and Dipper come in the middle of this chapter….for plot reasons)
“I like red, I like hoodies.” Marco says. ”So I bought a dozen of them.”
Star and Marco was walking to Algebra, their third class for today. And Marco was explaining why he had so many red hoodies while Star listens.
“Hey, it's that magic girl!” someone calls out.
“Hey, what's up, Star?” a girl says passing by.
“Hi, new friends.” Star says waving. “Hi! Everyone's so cool here, Marco.
It makes me wish my parents had tossed me out of the castle years ago.”
“Oh, you haven't even met the coolest guys.” Marco says. He points to two boys leaning in the corner next to the water fountain and lockers. “Alfonzo and Ferguson.”
“Quick, here she comes.” Alfonzo says slightly elbowing Ferguson to get his attention. Ferguson automatically straightens up as a cheerleader with brown hair holding three small books walks near.
“Hey, hey.” He says following trying to get her attention. She continues walking, ignoring him.
“Are those books?
Where are you going with those books?
Do you like to read?-”
He is cut off when the girl turns around and smacks him.
“Humph!” The cheerleader walks away.
“Oh, dear.” Marco says frowning slightly. “They're usually cooler.”
“I need to fix Ferguson up.” Star says. “Mabel’s flirting skills is way better than His.
(A/n: that’s totally true)
Maybe he could use some lessons from her…”
“No…“ He stops talking when he notice a girl with a light turquoise highlights in her platinum blonde hair skateboarding near them. “Jackie Lynn Thomas!”
“Hey, Star Butterfly.” Jackie says whizzing past.
“Hi, Jackie!” Star says waving. She turns to notice Marco’s Love stricken face. “Oh…I need to fix you up.”
“- What?”
“Oh, come on.
I'm almost as good at matchmaking as I am with magic.”
Marco holds up his hand. “I'm good.” Then they finish walking to class….
Time skip brought to you by Jackie, Alfonzo, and Ferguson…
“Look, look, look, look, look! It's my name.” Star whisper-shouts to Marco. He turns to look at her desk which had a doodle scribbled on it.
“It's my name. With a star inside of a butterfly and two hearts and a spider.”
Suddenly, a small stack of papers plops down covering Star’s drawing.
“As you can see, class, most of you have done a pathetic job.” Miss Skullnick, the math teacher says passing out the graded test to students” Some students groan as they see their grades.
“Not me! I got an ‘F’ for fantastic!” Star says proudly waving her test in the air happily.
“That's an ‘F’ for fail.” Marco says.
“- Huh? What?”
“You don't have tests on Mewni?”
“Uh so what grade did you get?”
“Only the best grade you can get.” Marco says smiling as he holds up his grade.
“A-plus, with a smiley face.”
(A/n: wow good job you’re as smart as dipper)
“Ooh, I want the best one, too.” Star says sitting up from her desk.
“Wait, don't!-” Marco says as Star skips over to the grouchy math teachers desk.
“Oh, Miss Skullnick! Hey, Skullzie!” Star says trying to get the teachers attention. “Can you please do me a teeny favor and turn my ‘F’ into an ‘A’?”
“You're whining about a lousy grade?” Skullnick says. “I'd finally got a guy with a boat, and he left me at the dock.”
“A dock?” Star asks confused.
“The dock isn't the important part.”
(A/n: well a dock is important for the next chapter coming up….heh heh..)
“I guess I'm doomed to dry land.” The math teacher groans.
“I got it!” Star says. “I’ll cast a spell to get you the perfect guy, and you can give me the perfect grade.”
Star whips up her wand.
“What?”
“Man-“
“Wait!”
“- Left arm!”
Instantly the wand glows.
“Star, what did you do?” Marco says rushing over to the once grumpy math teacher who was now a.
“I think I turned her into a troll.”
“Wha?” Miss Skullnick says regaining conscious.
“Star Butterfly rules!”
The whole class cheers while the troll math teacher freaks out.
(A/n: Freak the freak out! XD)
“I'm hideous!” she shouts.
“Quick! Change her back.” Marco says panicking
“Oh, okay yeah, right…
Lightning Change Back!”
They are suddenly transported into a bedroom with two twin beds in it.
“Huh.” Star says. “Where are we?”
“You just zapped us to the Mystery shack!” Marco says surprised.
“Oh.” Star says smiling slightly. “I wish I knew how I did that.
It could really come in handy if I don't feel like using my legs.”
“Hey Star and Marco!”
Marco and Star turns around to see Mabel and dipper walking in their room. Mabel was now wearing a pink sweater with two light pink hearts on the front.
(A/n: why hello Dipper and Mabel!)
“Hey guys.”
“Um…who’s that?” Dipper asks seeing the crying troll in the corner. They all turned to face her.
“Ooh…her….”
“That’s our math teacher.”
“I turned her into a troll by accident…” Star says nervously holding her hand.
“Cool!”
“Maybe there is a way to turn her back in the journal” Dipper says thoughtfully.
“Great idea Dip-Dop.” His twin says.
He grabs the journal from under his bed and starts flipping through the book.
“Quick use that spell again. She trying to leave!”
And sure enough Miss Skullnick was trying to escape by leaving out the triangular window.
“Okay Lightning change back!”
And they all disappeared not noticing they were being watched…..
(A/n: I am pretty sure you all know who’s spying on them…)
Meanwhile…
After spying on Star Butterfly and her friends Buff frog returned to Mewni the give Ludo a report.
“Ludo, Master.” He says. “Star Butterfly has come home from school early today and she seems distracted.”
“Distracted?” Ludo asks. Buff frog nods. “Excellent! This is the moment I've been waiting for.”
He continues.
“No one's at their best when they're distracted! Finally! I'll get my hands on that glorious wand! When it transforms, it will match my hat.
And I'll get my big boy body.
Kick down the tower.
Zip, zap, zip, zip.
And I'm a lifeguard.
One, two, three”
“Is that CPR?” Buff frog asks breaking Ludo’s Daydream.
“Silence! Yes, unfortunately, I was too late.”
(A/n: RIP Ludo’s imagination)
Back with Star and Co…
“Please don't cry, Miss Skullnick.”
“It will be okay.”
They tried almost everything to calm the troll down. So far nothing worked. The floor was now slightly flooded from the tears.
“Do you want some of my edible glitter?” Mabel asks she takes out a small Ziploc back filled with golden glitter. “It always cheers me up!”
The teacher nods solemnly as she continues crying. Mabel hands her the glitter.
“Star, we can't keep stalling.” Marco says. “You're gonna have to call your mom.
She'll know how to reverse the spell.”
“No! I can't ask for help.” Star says frowning.
“Why not?” Dipper asked.
“If my parents find out about this, they're gonna send me to Saint Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses.”
“That doesn’t sound so bad…” Mabel says patting Miss Skullnick back.
“Yeah…”
(A/n: they won’t say that when they actually see Saint Olga’s in first person)
“No it’s a terrible, horrible place and no one who goes there ever comes out the same!” Star states before screaming.
“Is it all out yet?” Marco asks.
“Almost.” Star say before screaming again.
“Okay, I'm done.”
“Look, Star, you just need to get the information without letting her know what's going on.” Marco says. “You know, dance around the truth.”
“I'm a great dancer.” Star says smiling. She goes to her mirror.
“Mirror, Mirror on the wall call Mom.”
-Calling Tom.-
Star’s eyes go wide.
“Star!” Tom says answering.
“No. No.”
“Oh, wait.
You're here.
I'm here.”
“I said, call Mom, not Tom.” Star says to the mirror.
“No, Star.” Tom says. His eyes instantly turn red.
“dON'T Hang uP.”
(A/n: yay Tom makes a cameo!!!)
The mirror hangs up and calls Star’s mom.
“I really got to delete him off my mirror.” Star says as her mother answers.
“Oh, Star, darling, what a pleasant surprise!” The queen says smiling.
“So, Mom. Let's just say that someone accidentally turned someone into a troll with a wand.” Her mom give a questioning look which said ‘what did you do?’
“Not that I would do that, no, because that would be completely irresponsible” she laughs nervously.
(A/n: Star… your mother totally believes you. XD)
A crash is heard. And then another.
“Star, what is going on?”
“Gotta go, bye.” She quickly hangs up before her mother could ask any more questions. She turns around to find a giant hole in her wall and no teacher. “What happened?”
“She jumped out the window!”
They all jump out landing on the escaping troll.
“Wow, good job, Guys.” Star says to her friends.
“Wow, good job, Guys.” A mocking voice says.
They all turn to see Ludo and his army of monsters.
“Ludo, what are you doing here?” Star asks.
“Catching you at your most distracted!” Ludo says.
“What? I have been way more distracted than this.”
“I don't know, you seem pretty distracted.”
“Nah, not really.”
“Oh, well” Ludo says sighing. “What's that over there?” he points to the tree nearby.
“What? Where?” The group of friends turn to see nothing.
“Get her!” Ludo shouts.
Star readies herself as she whirls her wand.
“Dagger Crystal Heart Attack!” She shouts. “Feel the love.”
She hits three monsters sending them flying.
Monsters surrounds Dipper, Mabel, and Marco.
“I'm obligated to warn you, I'm a green belt with a stripe.” Marco says as the monsters get closer.
“Take this monsters!” Mabel shoots her graft hook knocking out two monsters.
Dipper grabs the nearest thing and holds it out in front of him. “I have a….stick?...and I am not afraid to use it!” he says finishing confidently.
(A/n: lol sorry dipper but for plot reasons I won’t give you a proper weapon in this chapter)
“Ow! Ow!” a monster says as he get zapped with lighting.
“Rainbow Blast!
Narwhal Blast!
Narwhal Blast!”
Star notices Miss Skullnick looking at a monster who fell in front of her.
“Aww.
Narwhal blast.” She says not bothering to turn around to see the monster she had blasted away.
“Well, uh, I should probably be getting back.” The monster says turning to leave. “Kids ain't gonna fight themselves, you know.”
“Maybe I'll see you around sometime.” Skullnick says smiling.
This gave Star an idea. (A/n: more like my idea but okay.)
“Hey, Guys, you can handle this for a minute-” she blasts a few more monsters. “On your own, right?
“Oh, yeah, no problem.” Marco says Karate chopping a monster.
“Sure we handle gnomes so this should be too hard!” Mabel says dodging attacks.
“Cool, thanks!”
“Wait-” Before Dipper can finish his sentence he gets knocked down.
“Hey! Hands off my brother!” Mabel shouts before knocking the monster out.
“Oh, Miss Skullnick!” Star says in a sing-song voice.
“What?”
“See that monster over there?” She pointed to the monster who bumped into Skullnick. “He thinks you're cute.”
“Really?” Miss Skullnick says siting up more. “Ooh, what should I do?”
“Wait right here.” Star walks over to the monster. “Hey there, Monster Guy.
See that troll over there?”
“Star!”
“Get them! Get them!” Ludo shouts stomping his feet.
“Hey, guys! I think you forgot something.” Star says raising her wand in the ear air.
(A/n: stupid typos anyway back to the story)
“Get the wand!”
“Turbo Nuclear Butterfly Blast!” The monsters are hit with butterfly that exploded.
“Not again!”
“Ugh.”
“Get up! Get up!” Ludo says kicking a monster.
“Told you I wasn't distract - Wait, did I just kill that guy?” Star says noticing the monster who laying down twitching.
“He looks kind of dead” Mabel observed.
“I dunno….maybe?” Dipper says. Marco just shrugs.
“No, he's not dead.” Ludo says still kicking him. “He's probably just bleeding internally and being a total baby about it.”
(A/n: nope he is totally dead ded)
“Get up you, dipsticks!”
The monsters start leaving through the portal…
“Ooh, you're so muscle-y.” Miss Skullnick says walking towards them holding the monsters arm.
“So now that I hooked you up, how about that ‘A’?” Star asking holding out her test papers.
“Honey, please! I'd give you an ‘A plus ’ if I was still a teacher.” Skullnick says entering the portal. “I'm setting sail with Captain Triceps here.”
“What about my ‘A’?”
“Try studying.”
The portal closes leaving Star frowning.
“That was harsh….” Marco says.
“You can say that again…” Dipper says.
“So anyway, long story short, Skullnick ran off with this weird man-bull-guy thing to another dimension.”
Star and Marco had made it back to school and was now telling their classmates what happened the day before.
“And now she is gone forever!”
“Star Butterfly rules!”
“Wow, Star, that is so rad, girl.” Jackie says smiling.
“Thanks, but actually it's Marco and the twins who deserves all the credit.” Star says.
“Really? That's awesome!”
(A/n: I would have ended the chapter here but, there’s no fun in that, now is there….)
Out of nowhere a portal appears. Out comes Miss Skullnick who lands on her face.
“Ugh.” She sits up.
“Miss Skullnick?” Marco asks.
“He dumped me, I think.” The math teacher says. “I don't know. I couldn't understand a word he was saying.”
“Welcome back, Skullzers.”
“Get ready for the worst pop quiz of your lives!”
“Even us?” Mabel asks.
“Yes.”
“Wait but we’re not enrolled in this school.” Dipper says.
“Who cares you’re all taking this quiz.”
“Oh, man.” A student in the back row says.
“Sorry, Marco.” Star says as they all sit down to take the quiz. “I didn't mean to embarrass you in front of Jackie.”
“Are you kidding? That's the most she's ever talked to me!” Marco says.
“Then that means I'm even better at matchmaking than I am with magic.” Star accidently blasts Marco’s head transforming it to butterfly wings. “Whoops….my hand slipped…”
