Ignoring the pain my side and already wounded arm focusing on the pain stricken cries of the two injured and the whimpers of the potentially mentally scared girls. I grab my stuff and I walk home gripping my side blood still streaming from the cut ' how the hell have I not collapsed from blood loss already?!' that thought would run through my mind on repeat as I stumbled through the door. I was making my way to the stairs when my vision when blurry fading in and out, the last thing I hear were the sound of foot steps and my dads voice... The next thing I see is a black room 'What in the name of love?'. Im turning around in circles disoriented as I start walking towards a faint sound I hear of into a uncertain location, as I walk closer the sound becomes clearer and somewhat familiar. As I start to recognize the sounds with every step a known sense of dread started up in my gut "Welp, curiosity may have killed the cat, but you know what they say. Satisfaction brought it ba-" I was cut off by what I think was the call of my name, I try to listen for another call and to my avail. "Ira!" a faint voice would call slowly starting to chant my name getting louder as a flash of color would over take me. When I opened my eye's im met with a scene I had long sense forgotten, around me I seen a lush green starlit field. Lit with fireflies and a pale blue tint moon among a vast blue star speckled sky, as I study the area around me a cool crisp breeze blowing past my amethyst eyes lock on to a lone few oak trees atop a small rise. As I approach the tree my gaze is snagged onto a girl sitting under the tallest of the oaks reading, as I study the girl realization hits like a hammer. "What the-?" im cut off before I can finish by shouting as I quickly turn around to see a little girl charging at me "Lace?" , startled not wanting to be tackled I starting walking back only for her to faze right through me. I whip around wide eyed as this younger "Lace" tackles who my suspicions confirmed as "IRA IRA IRA!" Lace chanted as she hugged "me". "Ira come on your gonna miss the dawn of the winter solstice, and more importantly THE FOOOD!!" "NOO NOT THE FOOD!" the girls shout and start charging down to a gathering of people.
