There are many huts with women sitting outside doing various chores and some girls playing. There is a lake in the background. A woman dressed in lion skin and eagles’ feathers in her hair. Her nappy hair is tied together like a hive on her head. She has facial tattoos. The other women are dressed in different animal skins; the children in goat’s skin, the women in a zebra and a few in leopard skin.

Women come closer to them . Yalenga and Wamaka walk to meet the women.
Fumukazi: Wamaka I see you brought a little sister. (Faces Yalenga) What shall we call you little one?
Yalenga: Call me…um…call me Sangwani.
Fumukazi: Sangwani. Welcome, these women are your sisters and mothers. Our home is now your home.
A large woman starts to stump her feet and the women join her. They all start singing.
