It was an Agust evening Katherine was driving to Kyoto. The weather was perfect we enjoyed the view of the sunrise and we were singing in the car. Suddenly we saw a cow in the middle of the road Katherine turned on the left quickly and then all I remember is noise and pain.

I open my eyes and I am in a hospital room. I watch people in pain and doctors being in a hurry. Why is nobody here? What happened? Where is Katherine?

An hour later doctor came to me. "You will be fine don't worry" he said to me.I asked him what happened."You should rest now" he told me."You will remember when you are ready".I was very curious to learn what happened.

Next morning my mother visited me to the hospital."What happened"? I asked her.

"Everything is fine Toshiro, you just had an accident with the car but you are ok," she said.

-Where is Katherine mom? Why haven't I seen her?

-She is fine my boy. She called last night and asked about you. Relax for now, and tomorrow you need to answer some questions to the police.

-Why?

-There is blood in the car the police wants to confirm that Katherine accidentally hit a cow

The next day police asked me about the accident and I told them what I remembered.

-All I remember is Katherine turning the car on the left to avoid the cow. I saw the car running into the field we were out of the road running very fast the car was out of control. Then I remember feeling pain then nothing.

-My boy, what do you mean when you said you avoided the cow?

-We didn't hit the cow,that's why the car was out of the road.

-Are you sure you didn't hit the cow?

-Yes , of course,Ism I saw the cow safe the moment we turned left the cow was moving to the right to the other side of the road.

-When was the last time you saw Katherine?

-I haven't seen her after the accident.Why?

-Because she told us a very different description of the incident and now she is nowhere to be found.
