Chapter 1
Teachers, Classes, and the people in them
Classes are one of the most important parts of the high school experience, so why can’t I find mine. It shouldn’t be too hard to find a single room, should it? Will all of my classes be this hard to find? I hope not. When I arrive at my classroom almost all the heads turn to look at me.
“Mr. Hunter I presume,” My homeroom teacher, Mr. Gellar turns to me. “Would you like to share with the class the reason that you were late today?”
No.
“Sorry Mr. Gellar, I got lost on the way here.” I hear soft snickers from the students, humiliating.
I take my seat next to the person who seems least likely to try and talk to me. Homeroom was boring, Mr. Gellar was one of the most uninteresting people that I have ever come in to contact with. After that unfortunate encounter, we got a personality test as homework for the day, no one seemed to be on board with that. We spent the other half of the day having teachers give us rules, speeches, etc. Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited for this year to end.
