When I woke up I was really groggy and my shoulder and chest ached slightly. The gym and metal detector memory flashes reminded me that I was rushed into surgery because of bullet fragments. In my hand was a button like the one they give you to get the attention of a nurse inky when I pushed this one it gave me a small dose of a high grade pain killer. It had pre-measures and set up so that no matter how many times I pushed the button there was no way I could overdose until the time for the next dose was ready. Looking down at myself I still had my arm so that was a plus and my fingers moved when I wiggled them, that was another plus. On the other side of me I had the Iv in my arm, horrible creature. It was a least another hour before anyone even came in the room to visit me. Rowwas the first and was genuinely surprised I was awake. He explained how he figured I would be asleep for a few hours more. Row sat on the end of the bed and we talked, and I mean like really talked. He told me about Rune still holding my brother at bay even though rune new my brother had kidnapped both Jason and I only a little before. Lately things had gotten out of hand. Slowly but surely I was regaining control over everything but the one thing I couldn't have control of was this thing that was blossoming with Jason.
I was scarred to lose him but also scarred to need him. I had never needed anyone the way I felt I needed him, The way I knew I needed him. My future was completely in the hands of Jason Ross.
. . . .
Jason and Rune came in a while later. Row and I were laying side by side watch tv on his phone. Jason held in his hand something I shouldn't have after surgery but I needed it like the moons gravitational pull on the earth.
Chocolate milkshake and salty ass french fries.
They were the greatest when you dipped the fries in the milkshake the combination was just perfect. Row raised an eyebrow at Jason's bag of junk fast food and shook his head. He clearly didn't approve but he didn't stop me from eatting the fries with my glorious milkshake fry sauce (normal milkshake).
Jason explained that the doctor wanted to keep me here for a few days just to make sure the wound was healing properly and that it wasn't anything to lose my mind over. He said if I need anything to just ask and he would try his hardest to get it for me. I requested on thing.
More milkshakes and fries.
And him.
A lot more him.
I mean I was sure it was the drugs making me loopy and strange but having him around would make this a whole lot easier. Since you know I recently discovered out of the blue that I'm hopelessly in love with him and there's no way to escape the grip of Cupid.
