I confidently strode out of my house. This was gonna be an even better day than I thought. I went to my car and got in. That's when it hit me. Where am I gonna go? I mulled it over. Well.. some sweets don't sound too bad right now... but then again I haven't eaten yet.. what to do... I know! I'll go grab some food at my favorite Japanese place first! Then I'll go someplace else for dessert... I'll figure that out after I've eaten.
I started the car, backed out of the driveway and then I was off. Luckily, the place wasn't too far, so I didn't have to wait long to eat. I was almost there when a thought popped into my mind. Wait- am I still dreaming? Do I need to eat? I shook my head. Dream or not, I'm gonna go eat. I love that place. I could eat there every day and for every meal.
By the time I arrived, I was practically salivating. I rushed in. Guess what. There was a line. Grumbling, I took my spot in the back. Hardly anybody looked at me. I guess my outfit wasn't as loud as I had at first thought. Fortunately, the line moved quickly. I already knew what I wanted. I got to the front and ordered the A plate with beef, California rolls, and a sweet tea. By the time I had gotten my food and finished eating, I had an idea of where I wanted to go for dessert.
I said goodbye to the staff of the place and exited the building. As I walked to my car, I had to wonder. How long will I be able to keep this helmet? I had been driving for a while. My GPS was giving me a heck of a time. Apparently, I didn't know where the place was. Great.
I finally arrived, no thanks to that infernal thing. I went inside and luckily this time, there wasn't a line. I ordered and mango smoothie with mango boba(?). Yum. I looked around at all the other sweets. Gosh, just looking at them makes me feel like I've gained a few pounds. Nonetheless, I looked around at what they had, torturing myself. I finally decided to get a sweet bean roll. I couldn't remember what they tasted like and I was curious.
I bought it and sat down at a nearby table. Slurping, I look around. I couldn't help but notice all the Asians. I don't have any against them, but there always seems to be a lot here. It could be because it's an Asian place. Yea, that's probably it. That might also be why no one looked twice at my outfit. Figures. I want to go somewhere where my outfit will turn heads. Thinking about it, there seemed to be only one place I could go.
I finished the sickly sweet roll and headed out with my mostly-slurped smoothie. With a smile on my face, I was nearly giddy.
I was going to Disneyland.
No. Wait. I wasn't. They have an age restriction for costumes now. Darn it, Mickey.
