The station was brightly lit. A few people are standing at the bus terminal, waiting to catch the last bus home. There were also some teenagers skateboarding away from the station.
"I parked in the car park, but on the far end." Kam directed as he crossed the street while looking both ways. Safety first.
We passed the occasional night owl along the way.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay over tonight?"
He combed his hand through his soft blond hair.
"Yes."
"Is that a 'yes, I'm sure' or a 'yes, I would love to stay over, you're such a handsome stud, Kam'?"
I chuckled. Find someone that can make you laugh, because then your days will be filled with joy.
"Yes, I'm sure. No, I don't want to stay over, you're just mildly attractive, Kam."
"Ow, my heart." he complained but smiled as he did so.
Find someone that you want to make laugh as well, because then their days will also be filled with joy.
