i woke up that morning and i let stalagmite know that i was going to a pawn shop next to the mall and she said she was gonna sleep in, so i left. once i got there i saw a bin that said "DO NOT TOUCH!" and being the rebellious mutt i am, i touch it. it moved! i took a step away and out, climbed a 6'7" dutch angel that was made of patches. the first thing it said to me was "didn't you see the sign? dang it... where'd my tail go?" as he bent down into the bin and pulled out a patchy looking tail with tassel's at the tip and at the nape; then he attached it to a nub on his butt and said "this thing is always falling off!" and chuckled. then his smile faded away and he swiftly turned his head to me and muttered "why didn't you obey the sign?" as he pointed to the sign that was leaning against the bin. "do. not. touch..." he mumbled and started welting up purple tears. "a-are you ok?" i stuttered. "NO! I'm so sorry..." he said, still crying and he sat down in the bin again. "i've gotten so used to being lonely and i haven't been outside or even seen another person in awhile..." he said as he stopped crying and said "i live here and nobody ever comes and this is actually this last day that this place is even open! its being condemned!". i got closer to him and smiled, patting his head and said "wanna live with me? i mean i guess since this place won't be available anymore, you might as well not be on the streets!" and he just smiled and hugged me and whispered "yes... thank you for this..." and i just hugged him back and said "well? what are we waiting for? come with me. i'll bring you to my place and we'll find you a room ok?" he hopped out of the bin and said "m'kay! and he grabbed my hand we ran out of the store. still holding my hand, i told him the way to my house and he walked there with me. "his hand is so warm and soft..." i thought to myself; not knowing that i was slowly holding on to his hand even tighter. he stopped and looked at me. in this moment i realized how short i was, compared to him. then, he smiled and picked me up, giving me a piggy back ride to my house. the whole time, i was smiling and laughing and telling him lame jokes! it felt nice to have someone that would listen so well even though my jokes are pretty stupid! after a few minutes of walking, we got to my house and he set me down so that i could open the door, and i did, so we walked in and he looked surprised and when i looked at what he saw, it was stalagmite. i said "oh hey stal! whats up?" and she didn't look to happy. "where's my hug and chocolate milk...?" she mumbled. i just laughed a little and hugged her. "go to the kitchen, i'll meet you there in just a second ok?". "will do!" she said happily as she ran to the kitchen. i looked back at the new friend i had made and said "by the way, whats your name? I'm ashton!" and he said "I'm pawn." and smiled at me once again, picking me up and walking to the kitchen. then i looked over at stalagmite, who'd already made herself some chocolate milk. she turned around and said "you took to long so i made myself some chocolate mi-" and she stopped mid-sentence and screeched happily, making me cover my ears; and she pointed to me and pawn and yelled "OH MY GOD! ARE YOU TWO DATING? I TOTALLY SHIP IT! KISS! KISS! KISS!" and jumped up and down happily. pawn and i just blushed and looked at each other i turned to stalagmite and said "um... were not a thing stal... and no... we won't kiss.". "b-b-but! he's holding you like that...!" she said, and her smile faded away. at that moment i remembered that pawn was still holding me and i noticed that his hand was also on my butt, so i jumped down and said "dude! that's my booty! what the heck!?" and he just fell to the ground, laughing and said "oh my gosh! I'm sorry! it was an accident!" but it was kinda hard to understand him because he was laughing to hard. i just blushed and walked over to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of yoohoo because i was to lazy to make my homemade chocolate milk. he twitched his ear's and said "ohhhh! can i have some?".
