Wang Yi-An was ready to commence work; she was in fact excited. She moved back to the desk and for the first time. She took the new card that she had received from Yang Yi-An, and inserted the card into the computer card slot.

Yang Corps themselves invented Yang Corps computers; they called the machines, “Ultra-Plus”. Ultra-Plus computers are advanced technology, employees would have to introduce the card into the reader to power on, and to turn off; the employees can easily exclude the card, and it would automatically power off.

The machine automatically records a user’s log with details of what had taken place on the devices. If high authority personnel wanted to experience what each employee had performed on the computer, then authorities can readily comprehend. It is the security measures to forbid their employees from carrying any illegal actions of any sort.

It is a way the company protects themselves from hackers. It would be unacceptable for employees to bring work home if they do not own an Ultra-Plus-laptop.

Yang Corps offered these Ultra-Plus-laptops for their employees. They would be used the same way as the desktop computer in the office.

Yang Corps is the only seller of this type of security engineering. They had sold a copy of the security technology to other large companies as well. Subsequently, they built the most profit from their security systems machines.

While just a few great companies would purchase Ultra-Plus. The most significant business transactions for Ultra-Plus is for government uses.

The first one to purchase Ultra-Plus was the Cheung Family. The government buildings equipped the security systems. Cheung Family is related to the Yang Family by marriage. Thus they naturally use Yang Corps’ products.

The second purchase was the Tong Family, years ago when Mayor Tong first came to City Y from City A, He experienced the security system at the City-Hall in City Y, and then he contacted the Yang Corps for a business deal to hold the scheme set up in City A as well.

Then soon, words come around, and rapidly Ultra-Plus has become the number one Security System in the Country. The Country’s security system is impenetrable thanks to Yang Corps. To this day, Ultra-Plus was indeed bulletproof.

Wang Yi-An had been working on sketches non-stop for three hours. It seems that she quickly loses track of time when she’s working.

The time was 12:45 PM and Yang Tian-Xu saw the time. He looked over at Wang Yi-An now and then so he knows that she still hasn’t gone for her lunch break yet.

Speedily, he ratified a document that he had passed over. He puts it back in the folder and places it on his finished pile. Then he stood up from his seat and went outside his office.

And so he called out her name. “An-An. Did you have lunch yet?” He asked her.

Wang Yi-An finally looked at the time, and articulated, “Oh…” She smiled and laughed, “I completely forgot about eating.”

Yang Tian-Xu took out his courage to ask her, “Would you like to get away for lunch together?”

“No thank you. I have already packed my lunch.” She replied, she reached into her bag and pulled out her lunch box, then she asked. “Can I eat here?”

In the past, Yang Tian-Xu would have said no. He hates it when people eat their food right where they work! He would frequently lose his appetite. However, he didn’t know why, but he jokingly urged her, “Only if you would share some with me I will grant it.”

She ponders about it for a bit. She thinks, did she need to eat all of it or could she share some?

Wang Yi-An was very focused on work. She wasn't hungry at all. So sharing half of her food would be better than wasting it. The favours would be lost if the food was reheated too many times, and so she decided to share it.

“Hmm…” after she buzzed, she instantly replied, “Okay!” Then she smiled at him briefly, approvingly. “But you have to go heat it up; I’m too lazy to go.” She stated as she opened up her lunch box, and gave it to him.

Yang Tian-Xu froze for a second and thought, “For real?” Is he about to share a homemade lunch with her? This is a dream, isn't it?

Anyway, he took the lunch box and went into the break room to re-heat it. Today's lunch was made by Wang Yi-An last night. Stewed chicken meat with rice.

It had gone cold, however, after he re-heated it. The food looks delicious and smells even better. He arrived back with the lunch box in his hands, “Here,” he said as he put it on the desk.

“Thank you!” She said to him, then she took her lead and split the meal in half, she places her half on the lid, and handed Yang Tian-Xu the rest. “Let’s dig in!” She brings a spoonful to her mouth and chomps down.

For a minute he stood there thinking, “This is seriously happening.” He smiled and pulled a nearby chair over and sat down across from her. The table was in between them, but he could still see her face as he eats. He couldn’t help but smiled.

“The food looks delicious. Did you make it?” He asked her as he was about to take the first bite.

She proceeded to concentrate on her work, and let out an “uh-huh.”

Yang Tian-Xu could be considered a fussy eater. He took a bite of her homemade food, and said, “Wow. It’s delicious!”

Wang Yi-An didn’t answer him, and she immersed in herself in her work. Yang Tian-Xu didn’t mind that she ignored him. Somehow he felt contented this way, as he sat there across from her, watching her, and enjoying her home cook meal!
