I'm so excited!!!

Daddy got me a journal for Christmas this year, he said that it was right down my alley!

I don't know where my alley is, but I bet it's close because I just got the book.

Nice to meet you, reader! I hope your day is going well and will go well.

Now to introduce myself! I am a 6-year-old boy named Lucas Codyhardt. At first I didn't know how to spell my name, but Daddy taught me! It's C-O-D-Y-H-A-R-D-T! Only I don't know why the second to last letter is 'd,' since heart is spelled H-E-A-R-T. 

Maybe Daddy misspelled it! I know that you cannot change last names. It's impossible!

Well, I have to go. My family's waiting for the rest of the presents to be opened!
