As for the conclusion, this is the ending: they did not have a chance to return feelings.

To summarize, the guy and girl were bestfriends...in the beginning. The girl was in love with the guy, but then the guy one day left the girl because he has a lover. The girl went mentally broken and was insane, but after a few years realized that she still loved the guy.

They met again, and this time the guy was left broken by his past lover, which made him guard and build walls and doors around his heart.

Many tried to win his love, but as we poetically explain it, no one managed to find the door no.4, leading to his heart.

The girl who truly loved the guy even if because of him she went insane, became his guard. Specifically, the guard of 'that' door.

The guy, who was oblivious to his own feelings didn't realize that the person who is supposed to open the door to his heart never opened it, in fact guarded it.

And he only came to know that he loves her when she is already dying in his arms, forbidding her to die but instead stay alive and be with him longer.

If you have time, each first letter of every chapter title forms a broken or unfinished phrase, which represents for the fact that they didn't have a chance to return feelings.
