The Last Story

Old Friends

Old Friends

Jun 19, 2018

Ohnie and the others turned back to their human forms once they were ten feet away from their prey. After half a minute of starring, Janice "the last wizard" with a confident voice whispered "Alumbra" and the camp started to shine in a pleasant way to the eye.

The Helpers stand was confident but their eyes showed their fear inside. Anyone could read their feelings like an open book, especially Ohnie.

But as soon as Peter noticed Tyson "the last human" he's eyes went wild and leaned to strike, but Ohnie stopped him before he could do anything. As he starred Peter directly to the eyes, Peter got filled with fear and kept his head down. The Helpers looked at each other, and Andrew "the last white-man" asked Ohnie directly looking into his eyes:

- Do you still care about us?

Ohnie with a disgusted look answered with neutrality :

- No. But I'm convinced that you won't find difficult to fight all of us... well unless I decide to intervene, then... That's another question.

Andrew hurt by what Ohnie said, transformed his bracelet into a staff and hit the ground with it. A light shone from the bottom of the staff, which transformed into a wave of light that hit everyone that was corrupted. The squad, except for Ohnie and Peter, exploded into a wave of black dust. Peter not caring about Ohnie's stare anymore, went wild at the Helpers. The last White-human tried to hit him with the staff but got tackled down. The last wizard got Peter tied up, but Ohnie with an unnoticeable wave of hand released him. Janice stupefied by the apparent breaking of her, only affected by magic, spell by a non-wizard was easily defeated. The last human stepped in when Peter tried to attack Monica "the last psychic", they starred each other preparing to take action. Tyson felt guilt and sadness while Peter felt pleasure and euphoria, they battled for hours and it didn't seem to be ending soon. Monica had been keeping quiet and Ohnie had been looking around slowly uninterested and checking the black dust and the health of the other Helpers. When Ohnie got close to Monica, Tyson as fast as lightning tried to stop him, but Ohnie just signaled him to stop and Tyson hit an invisible wall. That gave enough time for Peter to knock him out but he couldn't get to do anything else since when he looked up Peter felt such fear that he melted down to dust.

Against them, there's Ohnie and his father the "King of the corrupted". Will they succeed? Will the universe crumble under the corruption? Only God knows what will happen to these unfortunate adventures.
