The Red Riding Hood (short story)

Part 3

Part 3

Jun 14, 2018

"Ms. Amelia's grand daughter? Is that you?"

At the sound of her grandma's name Lilac turned, and to her surprise it was Mr. Levi, the hunter she met three days ago when her grandmother visited in their house. To be honest, she doesn't feel anything good coming from the aura of this man. But as long as he has a connection with her grandma, she'll be conservative with a quiet mouth.

"Yeah," She answered silently.

"Are you on your way to your grandmother? I was going there too. Want to come together?"

"Sure."

Mr. Levi accompanied her all throughout the way. Lilac was uncomfortable under the stare of the man behind her back, as if waiting an opportunity to get something from her. She didn't like the atmosphere in the air, so her pace fastened to get to her grandma's house.

Who says the fairytale was never real?

Lilac thought it was actually weird. The trap look like it can snap her bones into two, but oh well, the wolf's wounds look like as if it only made a gash. It's bleeding, but at least the wolf's bones didn't break.

"Mister Wolf, you're lucky your bones aren't affected. If it was, it would be too hard for me to carry you to a clinic--you're too heavy!" She innocently giggled at the said creature, which is now staring and observing her every move.

Lilac, feeling its stare, turned to look up at its golden eyes. To say it was attractive is an understatement, it was captivating. Too captivating for her.
