The stairway leading down was long and dark with a faint light at the at the end. A cool light breeze blow from the light with the darkness surrounding the light at the end. Almost making it look like a flame of a candle. A small noise could be heard at the end, a sound of pain before letting out a quick scream before going small again. The fat man leading slowly pacing his way down. The monster followed obediently. The fat man was walking down with his head turn to the monster. The old fat man started to speak his word's "She came running up here with blood and tattered clothes. I can tell she was turning with veins popping out and the paleness of the face so I restrain her for her own good, that poor girl".The man hit his head on a broken beam"dame it"looked at the monster behind"not even worried for this old man".The monster said, "you survived this long".The fat man responded,"at least I still have my flesh and blood".The light of the fires down there embraced them before returning to focus. Big barrels up on shelves wrapped around the room but with a young girl with long black hair in between two of the shelves with a chain tied to them. She was a horrid sight, drenched with dried blood on her clothing and with paleness that can be only described as angelic like. The noise was consistent with no breathing time in between. The monster speaks " you want me to save her"still looking at her."yes, what separates you from the real monster is that you still have a few shards of humanity left".The monster gave a thinking look at the chained girl" and without me, you would be dead".The monster tired eyes still looking at her." Maybe but then in that world, people will stay in their graves and I know there are people out there that can kill you. People that are not monster's.The monster turned his way to the stairs with a distaste look "I will be back".The fat man tossed a small bag of silver"house to the east, only one" He moved up the stairs with one last thing the man said,"Monster, the truth usually salts the wounds".
