Scott's POV

It was Friday and dad and I were heading back to the house. We were supposed to go back on Saturday but there were problems that happened during the trip and that we needed to go back early. My phone rang and I picked it up, Angie was calling me. Angie is my girlfriend for a long time, we've been together for three years now, she is certainly the best thing in my life right now. She was geeky but I saw her beautiful. What I found attractive about that she true to herself. She was confident about everything she does. "Hey" she said "Hey" "When are you coming back" "I'm almost at my house" "Don't forget our date this Sunday" "Yeah, meet you at 9 love ya" She hang up. I felt a smile appear on my face, certainly best week of the year.

I thought about Sean and I my smile disappeared, I'm worried sick, he called me and told me that he was staying at a friend's house for a week and I knew something was off. Dad parked the car and we both got out. "Hey dear" my mom kissed my cheek "Have you heard from this week, he won't answer me and just told me he was fine" "Don't worry mom, he's fine. He’s probably at school, I’ll go surprise” with that I jog to school.

When I got to school all the halls were empty and there was no sound, when suddenly I heard laughter coming from the canteen. I opened the door and Sean passed through me ignoring me, he was dripping wet and he was followed by white trails from his shoes. I looked what happened and saw Rowan and Daniel high fiving. I walked to them furiously and I grabbed Rowan’s collar. “What did you do” “Nothing man, I didn’t do anything” I saw him hiding something behind his hands. “What’s in your hands” “Nothing” I didn’t believe him so I grabbed the thing behind his hands and saw what it was. “What is this” I asked him about the bucket, I smelled what it’s inside it. “Is this milk” “Dude, it was a harmless prank”. I got furious “You’re a stupid asshole you know that” I threw the bucket in his face and started beating him up. After a while Daniel grabbed me pulling me away from Rowan but I punched him in the face. Rowan punch me on the gut and I fought back. When he stopped fighting back, I got up.

“Do you all think this funny to you” I said to all the people inside the canteen “Watching an innocent kid be humiliated while you’re laughing” “You should all be ashamed of yourself” my phone rang and It came from Sean.

Sean - Scott, I’m sorry that we promised that

anything that happens to me, I’ll be okay while you’re

gone. But I can’t take it anymore, it’s hard for me to live.

I can’t stay here any longer, please forgive me. Tell your

family I loved what they done for me and I appreciate it.

Please take care of Bubbles and Elizabeth for me. And I

want you to know that you’re the best thing that happened

to me in my entire life. You’ve been the nicest person that

I ever known. I’m so grateful for our friendship and I will

never forget it.

I went out the canteen and all the trails were gone. I looked everywhere when I suddenly saw a trail of blood heading up the stairs.

I reached the roof and there I saw him, he was standing over the railings all bruised up. Before I can think of a plan to save him, he jumped.

I ran as fast as I can to save him but when I reach the railings.

I saw Rowan catch him before Sean hit the ground.
