I take a deep breath.

“Alright Peter, I´ll get going, then. I´ll see you in a bit.”

Peter doesn´t reply, but keeps staring at my demon.

Of course Sarazeel is finally quiet on the way back. He avoids the few boys that we meet.

Only before entering the Girls Bathroom, he hesitates again.

He opens his mouth and then closes it again, while I already open the door.

It´s not like we have no private Space in there at all. The showers are all in their own, separated Stalls. I leave Sara in the middle of the hallway and enter one of the Showerkabins.

I wash myself quickly, spending as little time as possible with my weird, disappearing body. The water is freezing and it feels like it lashes directly onto my bones.

I slip on my underwear and step out of the thin wooden door.

A little group has formed around Sarah, who looks at me with accusing eyes.

“You´re Kara, right?”, asks one of my little sisters.

I´m surprised she knows my name. I don´t even know how many siblings from the same mother I have.

I used to think I was also related to Peter, until we discovered that he was “adopted”. To bring fresh blood into the family. I shivered.

“You have a very beautiful demon.”

“Yeah.”, I say nonchalantly and Sarazeel takes the initiative, escapes the giggling girls and slips around me into the shower.

The Girls now focus all their energy on me, while I dry myself and put on Jeans and a top.

“Are you finally coming to class today?”

“Yeah.”

“Are you gonna eat something, too?”

Wow, there must´ve been more Eyes on me than I thought.

“Of course.”, I answer and scratch my nose.

I start wringing my hair when Sarazeel steps back out of the Shower, pulling the lent shirt over his head.

The Girls go silent and start staring at him again.

His hair is even lighter, but some parts in the pack that I thought were dirt are adding a nice, thick Contrast. Sarah throws his Towel down and gives my sisters some silent but deadly stares, that slowly make them leave the scene.

I notice how his hair is shorter and curlier in the back. I shake my head and sigh. Not that it matters what he looked like.
