He saw her. He actually saw her. And he was not drunk nor unconscious. He was healthy and awake. She must have looked like a maniac waving back at him, she was full of too much excitement.
If only she could cry, she would be weeping like a small child.
The whistle blew and Leon returned his attention to the game in front of him. The other team started with the ball so Leon had to work on defense. He challenged the person with the ball. The boy tried tricking Leon but Leon was too smart and was able to capture the ball. He passed the ball to his teammate on the right.
Cecilia could not bring herself to sit down so she stayed standing the whole game. It had taken Leon ten minutes to score his first goal and his second happened five minutes after that.
The game was about to end and the final score was going to be 2-0.
The final whistle blew and Leon's teammates surrounded him. Leon was trying to look over them, to find her, but he could not. He pushed away from his teammates, and scanned the crowd.
"I'm over here!" Cecilia yelled. This did not help. She watched as one of his teammates guided him back to the tunnel.
Cecilia sat down defeated. Why could he see her before but not now?
She groaned. She knew who she could ask about this, but wish she did not. She went inside her own mind.
"You come and visit me two times in one year, crazy," Belial was standing completely naked in the middle of what looked like a kitchen. He was stirring a bowl of what smelled like brownie mix.
Cecilia pinched the arch of her nose, "what are you doing? It's not like you can eat."
"I like the process of baking, my little angel. You should try it sometime," Belial said with a smirk.
Cecilia created a chair so she could sit down. She also made an apron for Belial to wear that read "The cook can go to hell".
Belial looked down at it and laughed, "funny."
"I try," Cecilia said in a bored manner.
"So, I guess you came to ask my why the little brat could see you before the game and not after, correct?" Belial continued stirring. Belial could see everything she sees. She tried to make herself forget about this for obvious reasons.
"Yes," she said.
"It's simple, little angel, what changed?" Belial poured the brownie mix into a pan and put it in the oven. He created a chair and sat down in front of her, "what happened before the game?"
"Leon ran into the field with his teammates," Cecilia said.
Belial motioned for her to continue.
"This was different because he usually walks onto the field by himself," Cecilia said.
"Now what happened after the game," Belial asked.
"He was looking for me. He was pushing away from his teammates," Cecilia said.
"So what was the difference?" Belial leaned back in his chair.
"Before the game, he was with his teammates. After the game, he wasn't," Cecilia said, "so the difference was that he closed himself off to his mates."
"The eye only works with an open mind," Belial said, "that's what I told you all those years ago when you asked me why the eye didn't work."
Cecilia nodded, "that's right. I told Leon he needed to open his mind but I didn't tell him how."
"How tragic," Belial said but Cecilia could tell he could not care less.
Cecilia stood up, "thanks again, Belial. Until next time."
"No, don't leave meeeee," he whined. He jumped off the chair and reached for her but she was already gone.

Where are you.
Send.
She walked down the stands and towards Te locker rooms. She waited outside the door and listened to the players inside.
"That was a good second goal, Leon" a voice said.
There was no reply.
"Leon? You alright? You seem distracted," the voice said.
Cecilia wanted to burst in there and yell at him to be kinder to his teammates. He was closing himself off.
Down the hall she could sense the sin of wrath. A girl from the party turned the corner with a lion cub trailing her. The lion was jumping up and down in a playful way.
The woman walked to the locker room door and banged on the door.
The goalkeeper opened the door and poked his head out.
"What are you doing here, Allysa?" The goalkeeper looked worried.
He stepped out of the locker room and closed the door behind him.
"They're letting that pig out!" She screamed, "Emma hasn't been able to sleep a full night since it happened! I wake up to her crying and now they're letting him out! He only spent time in the Mental Institution!"
"I'm sorry to hear about you're roommate, Allysa, I really am but I don't know what you want me to do about it?" He tried touching her shoulder but she shrugged him off, she was still visibly upset.
Cecilia shooed the lion cub, "run along." The cub bowed its head before running off.
Allysa sighed, "I know you can't do anything about it, Branson. I just don't know how Emma is going to react."
"He's going to be expelled from school, she won't see him again," Branson said.
"It's the fact that he's going to be free, that he could be out there, anywhere," Allysa said.
"Look, Kay's father is a lawyer. He's on a major case right now but I'm sure his firm can write up a restraining order against him," Branson said, "I'll talk to him about it for you."
"Thank yo-"
The door opened and Leon walked through. He looked startled when he saw Allysa who was close to tears.
"Leon!" She hugged him tightly but he looked super uncomfortable. His body went frigid and he carefully patted her back.
"They're letting him out!" She cried.
"I-I'm sorry," he looked at Branson for help.
Branson put his hand on Allysa's back and guided her from Leon to him. She started crying on Branson and Leon nodded before walking off.
Cecilia followed Leon closely as he walked out the building. She wanted to hold his hand like how she did when he was younger but she knew if she reached for his hand, it would go right through and she could not handle that feeling.
He looked as if he had just taken a shower, his hair was still wet. He was wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans. He had a black backpack.
When he was out of the building, he walked for about five more minutes and walked into another building. There were two ladies at the front desk. One was typing into a computer and the other was reading a book.
"Good game, Mr. Boston. We were watching the game on the screen," the woman in front of the computer said.
Leon nodded.
"Are you going to be using the library?" The woman asked.
"Yes," Leon simply said.
"Okie dokie. Let me just sign you in," she started typing, "okay you're all good. You'll be in room A5. I hope you find what you're looking for."
"Thank you, ma'am," he said as he walked through the doors behind her.

Going to be with Leon for a little bit but when I am done I will go to you.
Send.
Leon walked down a hall and stopped in front of a door that was labeled "A5". He opened the door and closed it after he walked in. The room was bare minus a desk and chair. Leon sat down on the chair and placed his backpack on the desk.
"Look up 'Imaginary Friends'", Leon said. The wall in front of him light up and multiple links showed.
"Eliminate any links that are categorized as scary movies," Leon said. Half of the links disappeared.
Cecilia stood next to Leon and said, "you're not going to find the answer in here, my child."
"Highlight any links categorized as religion," Leon said.
"None were found," a woman's voice said.
"Highlight any links categorized as personal story," Leon said.
"Three were found," the voice said again.
"Open the first one," Leon said.
Cecilia looked closer at the title of the article.
"What to do if your child has an Imaginary Friend- A guide for Mothers" Cecilia could see Leon skimming the article. When he read it all, he cursed out loud and leaned back in his chair.
"Next link," he said agitated.
"Help! My child is seeing ghosts?" was the name of this article.
"This is not helping," Leon sighed.
A knock came from the door.
"Come in," Leon said.
Cecilia recognized the girl who walked into the room as the same girl that Leon protected at the party.
"Hello, Leon. The computer sent us a notification that you were agitated. Is there anything I can help you with?" the girl did not look Leon in the eyes, and instead was looking at the floor.
"Hey Emma, I did not know you worked here. Are you fine to be working right now?" Leon looked genuinely concerned. He stood up from his seat but looked as if he did not know what to do from there. So he just stayed standing next to the desk, and she stayed near the door.
"I couldn't take being in my room much longer and I like working here, it keeps me distracted," she said, "I think Allysa already told you what happened today. She seemed pretty upset about it."
"Yeah, she came by the locker room. Do you want to sit?" Leon motioned to the chair.
She shook her head, "no, its fine, really. You don't need to be all sympathetic. I'm kinda sick of it."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be um..." Leon said, "I know that feeling quite well myself."
Emma's eyes looked at him for a split second before returning to the floor, "I never thanked you for helping me that night." A small smile appeared on her face, "you don't have to say anything, I know this is really awkward for you. I just want you to know that I appreciate what you did. I- I have nightmares of what would have happened if you didn't show up." Emma started sniffling and Leon took a step forward. He wanted to comfort her but did not know how.
She put her hand up before he could get any closer, "you don't have to console me, if that's what your thinking." She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.
"Emma," he was going to start talking but she cut him off.
"What are you trying to look up?" she asked him, "let me help you."
"Uh, um, okay but you have to promise that you won't judge me," he said. She nodded her head.
"Have you ever had an Imaginary Friend?" Leon asked her.
Cecilia nodded her head, "okay, okay, good job Leon. Let her help you. Open your mind to her. You can do it." She wished he could actually hear her.
She tilted her head, "wait, you mean, like, when I was younger?"
"Never mind, you probably think I'm crazy," Leon looked away.
"No, bad Leon. Bad," Cecilia scolded him.
"I don't think you're crazy! I'm trying to understand!" she took a step forward.
Leon nodded and held up wrist with his silver bracelet, "My grandmother believes that my Imaginary Friend gave me this. Her name was CeCe and she had purple hair and purple eyes." Leon touched the bracelet on his wrist, "I never take it off."
"I don't remember having an Imaginary Friend," Emma said.
"Hardly anyone does. I barely remembered her but that night, I saw her, clearly. It was like she was right in front of me, holding me. And since then I've been seeing her," Leon said.
Emma walked over to the table and sat down. She pressed a button under the desk and another chair raised from the floor. Emma motioned to the chair and Leon sat down.
"Leon, please don't get mad when I say this. You were hit on the head pretty hard and hallucinations are a symptom of concussions," Emma said.
"I thought of that, too. But I could have sworn I saw her before the game and then after the game, she was gone," Leon said, "and I don't know why."
"Maybe she left?" Emma said.
"I didn't leave," Cecilia said.
"She wouldn't leave. It's not like her," Leon sighed.
"He's right," Cecilia said.
"Maybe there was an emergency?" Emma said.
"If there was, she would have sent Fluffy," Leon said. His face reddened as he realized he said "Fluffy".
"Who is Fluffy?" Emma asked.
Leon sighed and looked away.
"You don't have to tell me," she said softly.
"No, no, it's okay. I just haven't told anyone who, y'know, wasn't my therapist," Leon rubbed the back of his neck.
"I understand," she said.
Cecilia stood behind him.
"Fluffy was a tiger who CeCe would have watch after me when she couldn't. He was more than a pet, really," Leon said this slowly.
Cecilia placed a hand on his shoulder, and it didn't go through him.
Cecilia gasped and Leon was startled. He looked behind him and his eyes went wide.
"What is it?" Emma leaned forward in her chair and looked behind him.
"She's here," he whispered.
"I don't see her," Emma kept on searching for her.
"You're making me look crazy," Leon whispered to Cecilia.
Cecilia laughed, "that would be the first thing you tell me."
"Tell her you can prove I'm here," Cecilia told him.
Leon nodded and faced Emma, "she said she can prove she's here."
Cecilia walked around the table, to the left of Emma.
"What are you going to do?" Leon asked.
"Tell her to look at her left," Cecilia said.
"She said to look left," Leon said.
Emma was hesitant but eventually looked to her left.
Cecilia placed her forehead on hers.
Cecilia was sent inside her mind with ease. She did not have to press her forehead against Emma's to get inside her mind but the transition to the mental state would be easier.
The surrounding was black and Emma was standing at the center. Emma looked around her, scared.
"You have nothing to fear, child," Cecilia said. Emma turned around and saw her.
"I- I can see you. Are you Cece?" She asked in a quiet voice.
"My name is Cecilia Purple. I am an Imaginary Friend," Cecilia bowed her head slightly, "pleased to meet you."
"H-Hello," Emma awkwardly bowed back.
"If you want, I can show you some of your lost memories of your own Friend," Cecilia said.
"Really? How?" Emma asked.
"I've mastered navigating the mind. There is a section that holds old memories that have been forgotten. I'll pull out the ones with your Friend," Cecilia said. She raised her hand and images started appearing all around Emma. Her eyes light up as the images flashed around her.
"Wow," she looked at the images in awe. When the memories went away she turned to Cecilia with a sad look on her face.
"C-can you do one more thing for me?" she asked.
"What is it, child?"
"Can you take away the memory from that night? Can you do that?" Emma hugged herself and Cecilia could see that she was crying.
Cecilia took a few steps so she would be right in front of her. Cecilia put a hand on her shoulder, "it is in my power to do that, but I advise against it."
"Why!" Emma cried.
"It is important that you grow from this experience. It is traumatic and I see that you have nightmares but this is something you need to overcome yourself," Cecilia said, "I am sorry."
Emma slowly nodded her head.
"One last question, then. Why can Leon see you and I can not?" Emma asked.
"Leon is special."
That was all Cecilia said.
