I groaned as I got up at the ungodly hour of 7 o’clock. So this is how wanna be? Wake up late when I have class and early when I’ve literally only had 5 hours of sleep? I see how it is, Brain.

After my...pep talk...I slid out of bed and rubbed my eyes. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. After that, I brushed my teeth while I made my bed. Ding! Who could possibly be awake and want to text me this early in the morning?! I check my phone, cursing. Emily. No surprise there. Of course she’d be the only one awake at 7. Putting that aside, I actually read the text. Meet me at Sephora at 7:45. If you’re not there by then, I will castrate you when you show up.Ah, now I get it. My psycho senses must have sensed her text and have woken me up before I show up late and get killed. Sometimes, the timing scares me.

“Finally! Dude, I was waiting here an hour, why you so slow?” Emily says when I catch up to her. 7:44. I’m so lucky.

“Sorry, but unlike you, I, as a normal human being should, ate breakfast and took a shower. Not to mention, I had to pick out my clothes and wake up Tate.” Emily huffs in frustration.

“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let’s go!” Emily pulls me into an American Eagle and takes some jackets off the rack. “Go,” she instructs and pushes me into the changing room with nothing but a jacket and loose pants. “Take off all your clothes and put that on.”

“Wait, isn’t this a bit, oh, I don’t know, revealing?” I ask, clearly concerned. There are kids in this store, I don’t think they want to see me half-naked.

“Oh, come on, Charles, when’s the last time you’ve had a boyfriend?” she pauses for a second. “That’s right, you’ve never had one. And it’s better late than never.”

I strip myself of my clothing and try on the clothes that were given to me by that she-devil. It’s cold on the top half of my body, although that’s probably what Emily was going for.Seduce him with that stomach in the Summer and feel so hot waist-down you’ll have to remove your pants! She turns the screen so I can see and says, “You look adorable.” I look at the photo and she that my face is completely flushed. My arms are tightly wrapped around my abdomen but you still see my belly button. I most certainly do not look adorable!

As I turn and enter the changing room, I see two pools of deep silver ores. I look back and see that they were gone. I must have imagined it.

Emily and I went to a few stores and tried on some clothes but ended up not buying anything. I was in the middle of telling Emily that I was hungry when she suddenly asked me a question.

“Do you like Isen?” I gaped at her random question. I have already explained that Isen is pretty much a stranger to me. “It’s fine if you do, ‘cause I so ship.”

“Will you stop it with those questions?! I don’t like him like that!” Emily looks behind me sadly so I turn around. “What the hell are you looking at, Emily?” She shakes her heads and looks at me confused.
