I drop him off at the nurses office leaving a note apologizing and leaving a map of safe routes to get past the football team before heading back home before practice ends. I make it inside to see the house pitch black "Dad must not be home...", I walk up the stairs to take a shower the only sound heard were my foot steps. I start hearing a ringing in my ears as I put my stuff away it slowly getting louder till I can't hear anything else building a sharp pain through my eyes, I try rubbing my temples but the pain only grows sharper causing me to groan as I lower onto my knees. I try to focus on the ringing but I notice something about it... its not ringing... its screaming, to my horror I remember the screams as those of the two who had broke in not to long ago. 'Ah, so you do remember the lives of those witch you stole... do you enjoy the melody?', "huh?", 'oh so you heard me? Welp, that's a first'. "Wait, Shadow, is that you?", 'pfft, who else is in your head?', the screams start fading into the back round slowly as I turn my attention to the voice in my head. "Hold on im not unconscious... so how the hell do I hear you?", 'pfft I dunno. Though, it could have something to do with what you just heard.', "Ok so your saying you didn't cause that?", 'Nah, kid im only your inner demons I rarely have any control over you and when I do its normally when you throw out insults at people that could kill you other than...', "...well, at least I know why that happens but, wait a second other than? Other than when?" the voice trails off going mute for a few moments before saying 'No that wouldn't count because she's still partially in control and is aware of whats happening in witch we both are, this is an odd case.', "Eh?", don't worry about it was the last thing shadow said before I couldn't feel it's presence anymore leaving me in dead quiet. I shake off my pilling questions take my shower and head to bed knowing I was gonna have a bad time tomorrow. *BEEP BEEP BEEP!* yep new alarm clock, I turn it off as I get up and get dressed in some sweat pants cause I hate jeans, Black combat boots cause ain't nobody got time for flats, a hoodie to hide the bandages covering my scars, and last but not least my trusty scarf in case I gotta strangle a certain annoying orange on stilts. I pack up my stuff and grab my note book the dragon now missing an entire wing due to training and fun fact, we still have no clue in hell what happened to my eyes on the rampage but I can now go halfling! I can't fully turn into my silver dire yet witch I can't wait for but hey it's progress I only have to focus a bit on keeping the ears and tail hidden nothing much AND WORKS FOR COSPLAY!
