"Yeah, I'm fine with sleeping outside, I didn't expect to be a royal guest or anything special" I said.

"Hah, I thought you'd object to that, you could stay inside if you wanted to" Yume said.

"Uh, really?" I looked back at her.

"Just kidding, you can sleep outside" She said.

"Yume, he's not that guy, but you're right in one way, no one can see you as a guest in the castle, sorry it has to be like this" Said Ayumi.

"That's okay, I don't mind" I said.

"Hmm, are you sure? Ah, I got it what about the tea room, no one goes there until tomorrow and so no one would find out or disturb your sleep" She said as she held on finger to her mouth, as in 'I got an idea'

"Yeah, that'd be perfect" I said.

"It's settled then" Said Ayumi.

"But princess..." Said Yume.

"What is it, Yume?" Asked Ayumi.

"Never mind, you're right" She said as she turned to me with a slight smile.

"See you in the morning," Said the princess as she turned her back and YUme went quickly to find her.

"Oh that's right, the tea room, follow me and I'll show you where it is" She said.

"Yume, can you keep him company?" Asked Ayumi.

""While he is not an official guest, I could see it be really boring by yourself waiting until it got dark outside" Said Ayumi.

"Looks like you two have a lot to talk about" She said as she closed the doors to the tea room.

I looked across from me, Yume wouldn't look me in the eyes.

"What? why do you keep staring...?" She said.

"Nothing..." I said.

"You're really lucky to still have family, you know that right?" I said.

"EH? I never really thought about it, I mean you not having family and all, but you said you lost them...right?" She asked.

"Right, I died and was reborn, into a body I had no choice but to inhabit" I said.

"And now it seems like everyone is afraid of me" I said.

"Maybe I misjudged you a bit, " Said Yume.

"I always looked up to my older brother, Kuro"

"Truth is he's the only family I even have known, he found me in the forest in a basket and as a royal guard took me in as his family" She said with a smile on her face as she told the story.

"I know it was stupid to go out on my own to find the guy who did it, but I had no choice—I can't lose my older brother, Kuro" She said.

"I told you, I'd help you right? and that's what I'm going to do" I said.

"Mhm" She said.

"When did your brother last leave?" I asked.

"Yesterday afternoon" She said.

"Why do you think it was this guy who took your brother?" I asked.

"well..." She looked around for a minute, "He said he was going to do something big in the next few days, and that's probably only part of his plan" Said Yume.

"My brother, he's the main royal guard who is sworn to protect the princess" She said.

"Almost like a declaration of war.. huh?" I said.

"Don't say that, if you say it out loud it might just come true" She exclaimed in a louder voice.

"I don't really believe in superstition" I said.

"Is there anything else you'd like to know?" She asked.

"Do we have any sort of plan to find this guy?" I asked.

"Mhm", She had a mischievous look on her face "I think I have one in mind" SHe said.

"It must be getting dark, I have some late night practice I have to attend to" She gets up, opens the door then looks back at me—"See ya tomorrow" She said.

"As long as you don't intend to wake me up with your spear I think I'll be fine" I said.

She looked at me once again and smiled a cheeky grin.

Guess I woke up early after all...I never liked the thought of anyone but my alarm waking me up.

Speaking of cellphone—

I check the time and it's near 1'o clock... did they forget about me .... no that can't be it... I feel it in the air....something must be wrong, something's really wrong.

"Wait, what kinda weapon do I have... let me check—

I can't find a weapon... wait, what is this {{crimson cross}} ?

I wonder what it does, guess I'll find out soon enough.

I get up close to the door and open it slightly, looks like there's several enemies, has to be only a few but it looks like they overpowered the entire army.

I open the door and sneak past, but one of them sees me and I make a run for it.

SO unfamiliar, damnit yet they're probably at the same disadvantage as me.

But the real question is where is the princess, Ayumi and where did Yume go?

I turn the corner quickly revealing a dining room full of casualties.

There's no sense to keep on running, they wouldn't have sent all their men after me when they have other plans much more important.

These people have something different than everyone else, they have elven ears, just like the princess now that I think of it.

They must be elven judging by their pointy ears they must be adept at magic.

I must be careful, sweat began to pour down my forehead, who knows what they're capable of.

"No way, I can't do this—you heard what they say about him, he's more dangerous than anyone on bounty hunter lists" Said the one other elf that stood beside a girl elf who had her hair done up in braids, she smiled a coy look,

"I'll handle this you can go back"

"But captain major" He pleaded.

"That's enough, head back and I"ll meet you there very soon" She said.

She turned back to me with closed eyes and a smile , there's no way she knows I'm not the real thing, can't be.

Don't over think, don't over think....don't over think it.

I took out the Crimson Cross off my shirt and it began to expand into the case for a sword.

"The Crimson Cross" Never thought I'd see that cursed blade" She said as she took out a thin cutlass.

"I"m not afraid of you like the others, don't you know elves aren't like humans" She said.

I have to act like I know what I'm doing, I have to act the part like I am this guy or she'll see through me like water.

"Heh, you? pathetic, you won't even put up a fight" I said.

Thank God I've role played in a game before"

"You can say what you want, but we all know it will end" She said.

"Don't count on it" I said.

I took out the blade and it was made of the most curious of metal, shining like molten lava.

SHe ran sidestepping left to right with swiftness that of a fox.

Even if she could do damage it wouldn't be that much.

I close my eyes for a second, and as they open I class with her cutlass.

I heave her back with all my might, and it does push her back but she comes back with swift strikes, I manage to block most of the strikes but I cna't keep this up for long.

There has to be something else I can do.

"What's wrong, has the most feared magic user gave up using magic?" She asked.

"OH well, quite the shame, that's something I wanted to see in person" She said.

Somehow I thought about magic and an interface popped up as we were exchanging blows.

"NO, just thought it might be a waste using my magic on someone like you" I said.

And that interface popped up with a multitude of spells, I couldn't access the higher level spells and then I figured out why; it wasn't because I didn't have the magic levels for it, it was that I need to use a lower level spell in order to charge to use a higher level spell.

A set of text appeared in front of my in magical ruins and yet I knew exactly what it said, I had a feeling I had to call out the spell.

"Level 1 crimson claw!" I said as I watch my arm flame and as well as my arm, so did the crimson cross emblazon in light flame.

"I hope you have better magic than that" She said.

"I'm just warming up" I said.

I went back in the battle and this time I gave it my all—and what she didn't expect was me tripping her with my foot.

I pointed my flaming sword to her neck, "Still think you've won, elf?" I asked.

I just realized how fast my heart had been beating and if she heard it somehow she would know that I couldn't be the man that she thinks I am.

"So what are you doing in this castle?" I asked.

"That's the same question I have for you" She said.

"THat's my business" I said.

UHghn this act is getting annoying to keep up.

"The princess belongs to the Solari," She put away her cutlass , "And so we came to take her home" SHe said.

"Have you found her?" I asked.

"No, we haven't, not yet " SHe looked around "But we will"

"I don't have much time to keep talking to you, but I hope we meet again" She said.

"Till next time" I said as I walked the other way, quickly looking around here and there for the princess.

"OH that's it, she must've snuck off from the secret entrance.

I put on my cloak and walk through the front door.

"Where would she have gone, not off on her own...probably with Yume.

I walk down the city's town quare and it's like no one has ever inhabited the place, a complete ghost town.

As I'm walking by someone taps my shoulder.

"It's us," Said Ayumi in a fully cowled in black attire.

"We have to get out of here, they're looking for you, they've stormed the castle and—"

I know, they've been threatening this to happen if I didn't just come along so I';ve had this escape plan in my head for a long time now" Said Ayumi.

"I came up with most of it" Said Yume.

"That you did, " Said Ayumi.

"Hurry we don't have time to waste" Said Ayumi, on a closer inspection the robes she and Yume were wearing were dark black and speckled with stars.

""As much as I don't want to leave Alderon, we have no choice—if we have to go to Zellaria just to find Kuro then it's what we have to do" Said AYumi.

"We're probably falling into his trap going to this place" I said.

"That's true, but we have no choice" Said Ayumi.

"We have to find my brother and bring him back home no matter what!" Said Yume.

"I trust you" She said.

We sped walked until we found a barn of several dragons just waiting to be ridden by someone.

"Isn't that stealing?" I asked.

"It's for a good cause, for the cause of me, princess Ayumi" She said.

"And of course you too, Yume and you as well" She said.

We each got on one of the dragons and rode off into the violet sky.

"Do you know much about the other places other than Alderon?" I asked.

"This is Dragaan City" Said Yume, "Alderon is pretty big you just gotta see for yourself" She said.

"There are the three other kingdoms but I haven't explored them yet, I haven't been able to travel every since I was born—unless of course it was to other parts of Alderon but that doesn't really count" Said Ayumi.

As we set off with the dragons, we both followed Yume as she seemed like she knew where to go.

There was no way we could understand each other once we started riding so we just kept up a good pace and followed Yume.

THe green lands turned to different colours of wild and exotic bushes and tropical looking plants.

Rock surfaces were in different colours and it looked like we were coming up to a different city with a different way of thinking.

Somehow it just seemed that way, like there was a different way of living one maybe free of worries and just happy times.

Yume's dragon halted as we came up to an arch, at first glance I thought it as just an arch but then I looked up close and seen the magical runes en-scripted along the arch.

"SO what's this?" I asked.

"This is the way we're going to get to a new city, a teleportation portal... I just don't remember where this leads too, actually it always is random that's right" Said Yume.

"Well, what is it, makeup your mind" I said.

"Hey, I haven't used a portal in a long time now, give me a break will you?" Said Yume.

""Let's get back on our dragons" Said Ayumi.
