we eventually decided that I would be adopted. they would train me to be a warrior and be stronger hopefully. They put out a flier to all the families in the world and it would probably be a few days till I was adopted.

And let me tell you, I was not exited.

I did not want to be adopted by a stupid family that would look at me as an outcast because I have so many scars it's scary.

I also don't want to answer their questions.

The council decided to adopt me out.

“Don’t you think your being just a little bit dramatic? I mean your new parents are rich for f**king sakes.” Axel walked into the room hearing my complaining mumbles. “And stop running into the wall. What has it ever done to you huh?”

“I just don’t want to be controlled! I mean isn’t that what parents do? Plus I have never had real parents so how do you think i'm going to react. Do you just expect me to f**king relax and go with the flow? If so f**k off!” I stop running into the wall to look a him and glare.

He got a ding on his phone. “And that would be your new parents” 

“And who exactly are they? You mentioned they are rich?” I start putting on my shoes. They were galaxy and black. The laces were also black. I was also wearing black high waisted jeans and a t-shirt that said picture perfect and had a camera on the back.

It was time to go meet my foster parents.

“They are the king of alphas and his wife.” Axel then replied

I step out of the elevator. Off to the right there are around twenty people in line waiting for attention at the counter. On the other side there is some seating. 5 people are sitting in the different areas either drinking coffee or on their phone. in front of my looked to be my new adopted family. The woman looked so excited she was about to explode. she was about 5'5 and she had long blond hair. the man looked straight up tight. he had a scowl on his face scaring the people walking around him. he had short brown hair and was about 6'2. Man, why does he get to be tall.

I walk up to them "Hello. You must be the king of alphas and his wife." I hold my hand out indicating they should shake it.

Then Axel walks up "Wow lindsay. you actually managed to not cuss in one of your sentences. good job. " he then turned to my new 'parents' " Hi im council member Axel, the one look after lindsay here. The papers are already done so i'll just go grab her stuff and then you can have this one" he points to me and I glare at him.

"sounds like a deal" the man has a deep voice.

Axel walks away. he opens the elevator and disappears inside to go get my things.

"Hi Lindsay it's so nice to meet you. My name is Gwen and this is Steven.ohh I just know we are going to best friends!!" Gwen says "Ok so first we will go home and get you acquainted and then we will go shopping. How does that sound? oh and please call me Mom and Steven here Dad. we would really appreciate it." she smiles at me and I smile back.

“Lets get your stuff and get going ok? I want to show you the house. Also council member Axel said you liked to cook. We have a wonderful kitchen that I hope you will love. We aren’t really prepared though because of the short notice but we have a really nice room for you. There is also people on the mansion grounds that are about your age you can probably make some good friends.” my new mother rambles on and on.

"Gwen, dear, I think your giving the poor girl a heart attack from all your rambling. stop."

at last Axel came down with my small suitcase and he said goodbye. my new family an I walked out of the hotel we were staying in and I looked back.. Axel was walking toward the elevator. I look back in front of me. and we arrive at the car. it was a gorgeous car and looked shiny new. I let out a low whistle. Dad looked slightly dazed with a happy smile on his face"she knows cars!" he says excitedly.

Mom looks to me in slight annoyance pointed toward her husband. "here we go again. honey just get in the car please and thank you." she pushes him inside the car and I hop in along sie them.
