Day 12

Dear Diary, 

I've decided that there is no point in writing to you every day. I mean, it's not like many things happen. So I'll just write when I feel like it. I currently don't feel like it, but I felt like I should tell you at least that. Anyway, talk to you later.

Day 13

Dear Diary,

Today was pretty eventful, I have to say! I saw the sun! I know, that doesn't sound that special, but I haven't seen it in like over a year. At least I think it's been a year. I don't really keep track of days anymore, there's no point. I only remember how many days ago I found you. It has been almost two weeks since I found you. That's pretty dope, as the younglings would say.

These last few days have been very windy, which is a shame, since that means that I can't be outside that much or I might freeze from the cold wind. Darn wind. 

Day 15

Dear Diary,

So yesterday was our 2 week anniversary. I hope you're not angry at me for not writing anything. I was busy chopping wood. Turns out, my newest base has a furnace which is absolutely epic sauce. I don't know if it works, though, haven't tried it yet. I was too tired yesterday, but today will be the day that I will be properly warm. You know, before the war and all the consequences of the war, I used to be a real wood waster. I used to hate the cold, which makes we wonder how I've survived for this long. Now I find it sort of zen. I mean, if I'm too cold, I can always put on more clothes, god knows I have plenty of them now seeing as the previous owners don't use them anymore. Man, when was the last time I saw an alive person? I'm trailing off topic. 

Yeah, I have a furnace now, which, if it works, means warmth and cooked food. Score. 

Day 16

The furnace doesn't work. I don't know what exactly happened, but I think the chimney or another part of it was clogged. It did burn for a bit, but it ended up spouting black dust all over my face, which made me look like a scary monster. 

Just noticed I forgot to write "Dear Diary", so:
