"Yume probably didn't tell you, but she's the only member of student council"

"It's always been that way so It'd be nice if you could keep her company"

"Really? I didn't know that—"

Sensei walks in the door and the rest of the students walk in as well.Sensei starts his lesson and everyone works in silence.Even Kenji seems to be focused on the lesson.Wait—that just doesn't sound right, I mean Kenji working hard—on a lesson?—No way man.And as I payed more attention... he's reading a manga behind a textbook.Which probably means I have noone to talk to for a while.

I was happy when lunch finally came along—it was a serious and seriously long lecture today.The atmosphere in the class has almost gone back to normal, even if every moment there's some guy looking at her.Aya took out her bento and went to sit with Yume.I take out my lunch and sit next to Yume.

"Ah what a boring lecture from Sensei today—I almost fell asleep"

Kenji took a seat right beside me, and he moved a little bit closer to Aya.

"Huh? I wasn't paying it much attention" Said Kenji.

"Yume.."

"What is it Aya?"

"I just wanted to tell you that I'm joining the school council"

I couldn't help but have a smile on my face, Kenji looked at me strange but I don't expect him to understand why I'm smiling.

"Wait—you're serious?—you want to join school council?"

"Mhm..hm" Aya nodded.

Yume's surprised voice was loud enough that everyone came over to admire Aya for her kindness.

"As expected of princess Aya" Kenji said.

Now I don't know if he meant that literally but when he said that Aya turned to Kenji like she recognized that familiar name.

Girls and guys crowded around saying things like:

"What a nice thing of Aya to do"—

"She has a big heart"—

"So it is true— Aya-chan is an angel that fell from the sky!!

"—she's perfect"—"Back off, she's mine"

Aya starts to blush but it fades away pretty quickly,

"It isn't a big deal really it isn't" Aya said.

"I just wanted Yume-chan to not be alone and by herself is all"

"B-besides you should join too!"

"School council will really be fun"

Suddenly everyone made a line to ask Yume if they could join, she was surprised for sure, but a smile came over her face like a ray of sunshine.

"That was unexpected" I say to Kenji.

"That escalated quickly" Said Kenji

Yume had a smug look on her face! she must have planned it all along.
