Well now that I think of it, that means that Aya has a club to join—one that isn't in the club that I'm in—and I'm the one who suggested her to join student council in the first place.

I cross my arms and lay my head down.

"What's up Keito?—why do you look so down?"—

If you're not going to eat your lunch then you should let me have your fried chicken.

Kenji maneuvers his chopsticks to grab my fried chicken—

"Not today you won't"

I move my crossed arms to grab Kenji's hand.

"Eh? fine"—"Just don't let that go to waste" Said Kenji.

Everyone who was in a line found there way back to their seats, and by the time the commotion quieted down—lunch was over.

By the time Sensei was done his lesson, Aya briefly exchanged a few words with me.

"Ayai are you coming?" Said Yume as she waited at the door.

"Oh it looks like I have to go now, see you after school, Keito"

"See ya"

She disappeared behind Yume and a bunch of students as they exited the classroom.

I went to club and by the time it was over I went back to class, Aya was there talking to Yume.

"Oh hey Keito" Said Yume.

Aya waved and smiled politely.

"There was so many people who wanted to join that we had to do auditions"

"Oh wow, really?"

"Yep"

"How was your first day in student council, Aya?"

"It was really fun, I enjoyed it a lot"

Ayumi grabbed her bag and headed for the door.

"Are you ready, Keito?" Said Aya.

"Yup, I'm ready"

"Sayonara" Me and Aya said at the same time.

We walked the usual way from school, but Aya made my mind about coming to Sakura Park, it happened that this way wasn't much longer than the normal route home.

Sakura Park was without a doubt one of the number one couple destinations, sure there were a lot of tourists but many were couples.

And so it kind of made me feel that as I was walking down Sakura park with Aya, that somehow thinking about her being my girlfriend seemed like a nice thought in my mind.

A gentle breeze came about the trees and sakura petals flitted in the wind.

Me and Aya parted ways and I finally ended up at home.

"I'm home" I announce as I walk in the door.

No response came, which probably meant that my mother wasn't home yet for whatever reason.

I played some video games for a while until my mother came home, it was late when she came home so she warmed up some rice and had curry rice.

"Keito"

"How was your day at school?"

"It was okay"—

My mother had a worried expression,

"I had a good day, just kinda boring is all"

"Mr. Nakamura is so boring when he talks, I almost fell asleep in class"

My mother laughed a bit and I finished eating the last of my rice.

It was late by the time I was finished eating so I just went to sleep.
