Hello there! I’m actually in quite the chipper mood today! I know, it’s certainly a pretty rare occurrence for me to be anything above absolutely desolate and dreary, but today I got to have an absolutely fantastic time. So, I’m sure you can remember how, yesterday, I said that there had been some rumors floating around about how with our shipment of new supplies, there was a supply of pure destruction essence and how I was quite ecstatic to see if there was in fact such a delivery because the applications of such a thing could and would most likely be extremely powerful and diverse. Well, today I found out that they were more than just rumors and that we received a pretty sizable vial of destruction essence and when I asked if I could run some tests on it and perform research on the medical applications of it, I was granted access to it! Now I have full access to a large supply of full destruction to run tons of tests on so that I can create new medicines and today I did just that.

The first of my tests that I ran today was one to ensure that the supply was in fact pure. I know that we were told it was and that the containment vial seems very clean and seemed that there was no tampering with it, but I still wanted to check a sample of it. I ran it through some tests by combining the supply with my own essence and seeing if it would create just blood and no ice or produce any other reactions and, sure enough, it didn’t produce anything except for pure blood. This is great for a few reasons. The first is the simple fact that I don’t have to go through and purify the sample, which is quite a hassle that I didn’t really feel like dealing with. The second is that even if I were to purify it, the sample wouldn’t be as powerful as if the sample were to be pure to begin with, as the purification process does dilute the sample a bit.

The next thing that I wanted to see was what would happen if I were to combine a sample of the pure destruction and a sample of the purest creation that we had on hand. When I did so, the resulting essence seemed to distort things around it a bit before disappearing completely with no trace left behind. My prediction is that it created time essence that either accelerated or decelerated its own time field to the point when it vanished from this time period. Time essence is a very powerful, but also extremely unstable kind of essence. To have created some is rare enough on its own, but if it had been stable and I was able to seal it within the container quick enough, we may have had a new breakthrough on our hands.

The final thing I did for the day was some medical testing with some creation-based infections. I got some creation infected samples causing varying illnesses and symptoms then I added a small sample of pure destruction along with some traditional cures to the diseases and let them sit for the night. I do hope that they turn out promisingly when I check on them tomorrow.
